“Lots for all ages here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Very entertaining and scenic area of San Diego. The museums are a little steep, but good for families. SD Zoo was a blast. Go on a weekday if you can to help beat the crowds. It took about 1.5 days to see all of Balboa Park area.

“A really great city park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This place is awesome! With a zoo, museums, and many other attractions and stuff on display at all times, events, and overall visual appeal, this city park would be hard to rate below top 3 I've ever seen.

“A place to relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

If you like to take nice walks in a somewhat quiet area, Balboa Park is the place to go. There are tons of museums to see, a beautiful pond full of Koi fish, and a huge fountain that you have to take pictures by. There's also a rose garden that looks beautiful when they're all in bloom. And the organ pavilion? Amazing!!!

“lots to see & do”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Enjoyed walking around the park, watching the lawn bowlers and loved the great stage. Wish there was a performance so that I could've really enjoyed. Lots of museums, but too expensive to go into them
