“Enjoy the museums or a lovely quiet walk through the park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

What can I say. This park has something for everyone. It has playgrounds for the kids, a rose garden, lawn bowling area, huge grass area for picnics and lounging, trails both paved and dirt through the numerous acres. It has several wonderful museums with incredible architecture, an ampitheater with concerts, a merry-go-round and a little train ride.

“Beautiful Park and Museums”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

Free Parking, loads of exciting museums and gardens to explore and all in one convenient, walk able area. We visited the air and space museum, botanical gardens and lily pond, cacti and rose gardens and the Spanish artists area. All superb and highly recommended!

“Fantastic park but need lots of time to appreciate it all!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

This park is simply all encompassing. It is huge, and has so much appeal for virtually anyone, it would take a week to see all that it offers. We only had one day to spend there.
Overall, it was the type of facility that would definitely give a person good cause to plan a return trip to San Diego, which we are thinking seriously about doing in the near future.
Hats off to the designers, operators and many volunteers who make these facilities such a pleasure to visit.
