This City Park definitely has more than most, and represents what any city park should, culture, history, art, entertainment, pride, and beauty.

“Don't Miss Balboa Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

We went for a long weekend to San Diego to visit our son and daughter in law. While this wasn't our first visit to Balboa Park, I have never written it up before. Balboa Park is certainly one of the gems of San Diego. It is a place that offers a multitude of experiences and should not be missed when visiting this fine city. There are multiple museums, gardens, restaurants, the world famous zoo is close by. You can go there to see a play, walk the grounds, or just people watch. Parking is free, but there is an admission price for some of the exhibits. The architecture in the park is magnificent. It will definitely take more than a day to see it all.
So when you are in San Diego, don't miss this great campus.

“Lovely park”

What a lovely place. The park itself was beautiful along with the sixteen different museums within the park. Beautiful architecture and landscaping too. Well worth a visit.

“Spanish Art Center”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

Nice place to spend Sunday morning, looking at the art and observing people. You can walk from Gaslamp Quarter to Balboa Park. It takes about 30 minutes to go there.
