“Went for the pool/slide - that was their worst feature”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2012

Disappointed that the featured slide was open for one hour in the evening then more disappointed that both the pool and hot tub water were disgusting. The adults refused to get in and we got the kids in the shower ASAP when done - yuk! Glad the room was clean and customer service was great. Breakfast included was fine, nothing special. Will not stay there again however.

Nikki W,

Thank you for your recent stay, and taking time to provide feedback. We’re sorry you found the pool area less than satisfactory. We appreciate the candid feedback we receive and welcome any opportunity to improve. We hope that you give us a chance in the future to show you how great our hotel is.

Surprisingly quiet for such a nice HoliDome and pool. Clean room and the breakfast was terrific.

This hotel has a lot of potential with ample meeting space and good parking. The indoor pool is a nice amenity in concept. Unfortunately, the pool turns the entire hotel into a greenhouse (unless you have a smoking room with external access). In case you are wondering -- NO the A/C does not work and most rooms do not have windows to the outside! This high humidity combined with screaming/playing children will give your room the feel of a beautiful jungle environment replete with singing birds; that is unless you think negatively, in which case, you will feel like you are stuck in a sweltering hell surrounded by a pack of wild hyenas. And if you are brave enough to try and leave because your room is too loud or hot, be prepared to wait many minutes for the one (1) elevator which also doubles as the children's play toy.

The breakfast area, located adjacent to the front desk, does offer a cool, quiet environment where you can work and think; however, be prepared to have hotel staff run you off because the area is "off limits". Even though I travel a lot and routinely use reviews, I never write them; however given the horrible experience, I thought it was only just to write one for this place. Oh, and when I left the hotel complex in search of someplace quite, I even caught the my hotel neighbors sitting in their car seeking refuge from the noise and humidity. CRAZY!!!

If you use those other booking websites, bid as little as possible, because you might actually win this hotel which comes with its own complementary miserable experience!

Stevie Lopez is a wonderful employee!

The hotel was clean but I was dissapointed with the pool in regard to the kids. You should really look into "adult" time. At no point in 2 days were we able to enjoy either the hot tub or the pool without getting splashed and kicked and the noise level was out of control! On Saturday night there were 16 kids (yes for real, no exaggeration) 16 children in your hottub. Without some time set aside for adults, we won't choose this hotel again.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. I am glad that this has been brought to my attention and we will start having adult time in the pool and hot tub so that everyone may enjoy it. By the way, I think Stevie is wonderful too. thanks, again.

Went for my bday and took my 3 1/2 yr old daughter so we could get some swimming in, she loves water! I didn't realize the slide was only open during weekend but after asking about it the staff actually opened it for us beings it was Xmas weekend and there were lots of people. My daughter was thrilled! She got to go down 3 times(only because her and another little boy her size were too small...48" requirement, no adults can ride with kid) but she loved all 3 times tho! It was a pretty chilly down by the pool but pretty hot on the 4th floor, that's the only reason for the 4 star rating. I understand its because the way the building is set up but i was freezing getting out the pool! My room was on 4th floor right by slide, walked in and noticed the big lcd tv right away! Found it hard to cool the room down tho. Other than that tho it was nice, had a nice living area where we ordered and ate pizza. Bed was nice and the tv was great while we fell asleep! Free breakfast buffet gave us a great start to the day! The staff was very nice and will definitely recommend to others!

Clean quiet room with a great rate. Hot breakfast was wonderful complete with premium coffee, real silverware and plates, and excellent service - all included at no charge. Lots of guests showed up at the last minute and the staff continued to bring out hot fresh food with no complaints. You don't see that very often. Kudos to the Holidome staff! Nice pool area, inroom fridge, micro, and coffee. We will come back again.
