“If you don't try it; it's your loss!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

A little place in central Topeka that is worth a stop. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have or help you make a choice on what to try. The best custard in town.

“A perfect treat for a nice day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2012

Since it was unseasonably warm, my hubby and I decided to go for a treat at Gs. The menu is vast, but the staff is super helpful. Hubby had the brown bread custard with heath bar and caramel sauce. I had a blackberry concrete. Those treats really hit the spot! There is plenty of parking and they have both a walk-up window and a small area inside with a couple of tables. There are also picnic tables outside. It's off the beaten path, but well worth the visit.

“Best custard for miles around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2012

We are lucky enough to live near G's and stop there regularly. As another reviewer mentioned, the lemon custard is amazing. My mother-in-law insists on having it whenever she's in town. There are many other memorable flavors and combinations as well. It's up to you to come up with your favorite, although there are suggestions on the menu boards. The building is nothing remarkable, but the outside atmosphere on a summer evening is like a carnival. The local fire engine crew often shows up and hands out stickers to the kids, and gives tours of the truck. There are people on bikes, folks hanging out on the picnic tables, etc. It's a great place. Beats the chain custard shops hands down.

G's is a cute little local icecream shop. Their lemon custard is to die for!

“One of the best custard places in Topeka”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2011

My family and I stopped at G's for a treat on a hot weekend in June. There are a couple of small tables inside, and a couple of picnic tables outside. They have a lot of unique flavor combinations, and they're all wonderful. The building looks like it's been there awhile, and the public restroom is down a flight of very narrow stairs into a dark basement, but the staff are friendly and very helpful. Making my mouth water just thinking about our last visit! Yum!
