This serpentine parkway is a scenic and relaxing drive from just south of Nashville, Tennessee, to Natchez, MS. We only drove on it for about 50 miles, but it was beautiful.
It is a true parkway, with no bathrooms, gas, etc., so plan your route and make your gas stop before entering the parkway.
I have read that it is particularly beautiful in the Spring when the dogwood trees bloom. We saw some turning of the leaves in early October, but I think the full turning would be early November.
We saw almost no other cars and NO semis.
