“Great for a grad student!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

I stayed at the Club Quarters for a little over a week while working through my first residency at Northeastern University. The university had a deal for a cut rate for them for the residency students that missed the "boat" on campus housing.

It was a great place for me to work and sleep. The room was clean, comfortable and appointed for me to stock some snacks and light meals and also work on my doctoral work. It is just a few blocks from all the interest an Fanuiel (sp?) Hall. I got around the city all week long on a week long T pass and had no issues. The restaurant (Elephant and Castle) attached to the Club Quarters had the BEST fish and chips EVER! The only thing I'll say about staying in the financial district is that the streets roll up at 9ish. I worked late in the room one night and when I decided I needed a break and something to eat basically it was dark, deserted and very quiet walking out around 9-10pm by myself. I did find a Wendy's just a block or two away that was in the process of closing. If you're intending to enjoy the nightlife in Boston, this isn't a convenient place for that, but as a working hotel for me, for the week....it was great.

We stayed at this hotel as my wife's company has a deal with them. The hotel is standard club quarters fair. Clean, smallish rooms, and ok'ish location. The hotel is in the business part of town so there is not that much going on round the hotel. There is a pub down the stairs which through the week is busy with office workers but dead at the weekends.
The rooms are clean so if you get a good price for this hotel I would recommend.

We spent the weekend in Boston and stayed at Club Quarters on Friday and Saturday nights. The hotel is located in the financial district of Boston, so it is quiet on weekends. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions or recommendations. Rooms were very quiet with no street noise. Location was very convenient to South Street Station (Amtrak) and many of the downtown attractions.

I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here 3 nights and I would stay again. The hotel is very well located, few minutes away from great Boston amenities. The rooms are good size, not disturbed by any traffic or noise and well equipped. Customer service is good, but nothing special. It's the cheapest hotel we could find in central Boston so also good value for money.

Club Quarters is known for its well-located hotels in six or seven U.S. location plus Paris and London. Each is set up for the business traveler, but we found the Boston hotel full of couples, some student travelers and few businessmen and women during our weekend stay. Rapid check-in, valet parking and a clean, modern room with wi-fi and flat screen tv plus a nice bathroom (shower, no tub...suits us) and comfortable bed made this a great stay at just under $200 a night.

We booked to stay at the Club Quarters in July. We were misled, whether or not that was on purpose or not I cannot be sure, and as a consequence ended up over-paying. When this was raised with staff we were treated dismissively and staff implied that we were not being honest. Frankly, I am more annoyed by the second than the first.

This is a company I do not trust and would never be involved with again.

With the prices on offer for hotels in Boston this place is in a great location at a reasonable price. The hotel is comfortable but not great and the subway is nearby. If I was staying in Boston again I would stay here.
