We only stayed the one night and was a little disappointed that we missed getting the king sized bed by 5 minutes. We ended up with a double that he believes are not queen sized beds. I'm certain that they were queen sized. Loved the beds with all those pillows on them.
The view from the room was incredible. We were across from the Cheesecake Factory.
We loved the bathroom. The mirrors there made it look just a bit bigger!
The closet door was a little hard to open....and it didn't help that the bed was right in front of it. Who ever measured the room was very accurate with making use of every inch of the room.
The staff was pretty friendly and the concierge was very helpful; as were the Bell Hops.

Room Tip: Check in as early as possible if you are hoping to get the king sized bed.

On Feb-21-14 through Feb-23-14 we arrived at The Colonnade Hotel in Boston. It was my 50th Birthday weekend and we had booked 2 rooms for our party of 3. Normally when in Boston, we stay at the Sheraton, across the street, but were happy to give The Colonnade Hotel a try.

Upon arrival and exiting the car, in front of the hotel, we were warmly greeted by Norman, the doorkeeper/porter. He was in uniform making him easily identifiable. He directed me to the onsite parking garage, then escorted the luggage and my wife to the reception area.

Parking was easy and quick. If you drive anything much bigger than a Jeep Grand Cherokee the parking spots may be tight. The convenience of parking and the fact that it was included made it ideal in an area known for high parking rates.

The lobby/reception was a quick elevator ride away and as I exited the elevator, Norman was there to greet me by name and wish me a happy birthday. Norman is a spectacular example of excellent customer service and attention. As the first impression of the Colonnade Hotel, he makes you feel welcome and at home.

Check-in was easy and quick. The Concierge team had a birthday card and greeting, in the room, which was very nice. We also received a very nice note with birthday wishes from David Colella, the VP and Managing Director.

It was easy to get a cab and the T (subway) Prudential station Green line was right outside the front door. The T is easy to navigate. Also walking around Boston is easy too.

Overall, we had a memorable time in Boston, at the Colonnade Hotel. When we return to Boston we will certainly stay there again. We recommend this hotel without hesitation. Enjoy!

First visit to Boston and The Colonnade was recommended to us by a friend. Location ideal for sight-seeing and very handy for Prudential shopping centre which is just across the road. Room was clean, nicely decorated and spacious. Real gem of this hotel however is the staff, who were always courteous, approachable and happy to help.

This hotel has it all. Location, Luxury, hi-level service, great restaurant. We tend to stay in Relais & Chateau facilities when we travel. To me, The Colonnade is that level of service and hospitality.

Traveling for business a long way from home can often make one feel anonymous and the experience mundane, but the staff at the Collonade made me feel genuinely welcome. The accommodations were lovely and the people made my stay one of the best I have ever had!

I travelled with 3 teenagers to see colleges over the February break and chose the Colonnade because of its proximity to BU and Northeastern and the "T". It is in an excellent location all around. We had 2 double beds and were very comfortable. We loved the beds and linens and pillows! We didn't have breakfast there because it is pricey, and be aware that Wi-Fi is extra. However we were happy with how accommodating the staff was with our room. One of their doormen is also amazingly helpful and professional.

location is fantastic. We were really impressed with the hotel
Our room was great and the staff went above and beyond our expectations.
We spent valentines day there and the staff did all sorts of sweet things..including taking a picture of us before we went out . When we returned from the Symphony they had left it in a frame with a heart shaped cookie for us
I look forward to staying there again
