“Boston In Sept”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Nice clean room. Good location. But, two types of rooms: outside with a view of the side of a hotel or inside with a view of an air shaft. There is a bar, but no restaurant. But, lots of restaurants nearby. No coffeemaker in the room.

We had an almost 24 hour layover in Boston .... so decided to find something downtown.... the location of this hotel is prime within walking distance of everything..... in comparison to the other hotels it was much less expensive..... and it did not disappoint.... the rooms were clean, well appointed, nice touches like the travel guide and a couple of local magazines, free wireless internet, very friendly staff...... all appreciated. Comfy bed, good pillows, great shower they could not offer late check out but offered to store our bags for the day to allow us to explore ....... We will be back......

This is a small hotel in a good location in old town Boston, near the harbour and Quincy market. Room was small but nicely equipped. We had a room at the front and there was a lot of street noise early in the morning. No parking available at the hotel, but a small discount on nearby public parking. The best thing about this hotel is location, within easy walking distance to most of the historic attractions.

Room Tip: avoid rooms facing onto street due to noise

What a fabulous 'boutique' hotel! Upon entering you're greeted with a neon entrance, the lobby is connected to a hopping neon nightclub and the lobby area was very inviting for sitting or catching up on business. Staff was friendly and very helpful to us tourists. Rooms were clean, well designed and upscale. The subway was right outside the door so it was easy to get around! Location was perfect - right across the street from Quincy Market and very near the wharf. Comparatively, cost was acceptable - check it out!

Room Tip: Courtyard rooms let in light, but no views.

I can't say enough positive about this place! We are currently on day three of a four day stay. Everything about this hotel has been efficient, fresh and friendly. Good web site for booking, friendly staff, good elevators, wonderful room! The room is comfy and has cute features...like touch light controls, real keys ! Temperature control is easy and effective, furnishings are simple and stylish, mattress super comfortable, wifi is good, and the shower is great.
The location is unbeatable. Walk easily to North End, around the harbor, to subway stations, to the Freedom Trail and many other attractions, and the fantastic Quincy Market is right around the corner. This hotel is smack downtown, and you step out to green spaces, excellent eateries, banks, hair salons, whatever you need...and it is safe to be out at night. Traffic or noise are not problems.
There is a basic Starbucks next to the lobby, and the hotel bar is a happening place. There is a 24 hour convenience store at the corner of the hotel building.

Stayed for one night at this perfectly located hotel with nautical motif. Subway stop to everywhere in Boston, including airport, across street and many must see sights all within walking distance. Recommended.

Harborside is a smallish hotel close to all the Boston downtown attractions. From check in to check out everything was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone traveling though and/or visiting Boston. Real room keys too. How’s that for old-school charm. The lounge just off to the lobby is the go-to place for coffee in the morning and a drink after a long day.

Room Tip: 2 options - you can have a room facing the interior (atrium) or outside (skyline).
