“Lovely boutique hotel in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

We chose this hotel based on reviews, price and location. We were not disappointed, check in was quick and friendly. Our room was on th 4th floor with a street view, I think this is one of the better views you can get. It wasn't huge but just what we expected in Boston. Everything was clean and in good condition. Free WiFi and a guide book for you to use which was a nice little touch. Location wise, fabulous. 1 minute from the train network, Quincy Market for great food choice and also the sea front, only negative was the cost of parking, $26 per night, however your in a City so its not a shock. Would definitely stay here again if the price was right.

We loved staying at Harborside Inn in Boston. One of the main benefits is its LOCATION. As a tourist, the price for its excellent location cannot be beat. The boutique style of the hotel was also very pleasing. The room was small but very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and modern. I loved staying here and definitely will come back again.

My wife and I stayed here while touring the city and were both very pleased. The biggest asset is the location. Literally next to the Aquarium T station and within easy walking distance of Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, the Aquarium, and Harbor and many other sites of interest. Restaurants plentiful. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and efficient. The rates were typical for downtown Boston. The airport is a short subway and shuttlebus ride away.

I have stayed at the harborside Inn many times over the years and always liked it for its location, value, and the fact that it wasn't a cookie cutter hotel. This most recent time was different. they have spent a lot of time and money expanding the hotel adding a larger lobby and lobby bar and adding rooms in the basement. The lobby and lobby bar are nice if a little like a W trying too hard, but much better than before. My issue is with the rooms in the basement. while they are large and nicely done, they seem very confining. One never forgets that you are in a basement and it seems to take a lot of the enjoyment away from what i remember.

Room Tip: For me personally, I would try to stay in a room above ground.

Last minute booking. The Harborside Inn has character and charm. Looks like a recent face lift. Very cozy and clean. Close to everything downtown. Went around the block a time or two, waiting on an opening to drop our bags. Our room was very spacious. We had a King. Parking garage was just a block away. Hotel guest get a break on the fees. We'll be back.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel previously and now saw some positive changes in the rooms, the addition of a nice cocktail lounge and Starbucks right off the lobby. The location of this hotel makes it most convenient to Faneuil Hall which is across the street and an easy walk to the Aquarium, harbor cruises and the North End. The staff was pleasant. Note, there are only two types of rooms: queen and king. No extra beds are available so if you have children in tow, I would recommend another hotel.

Room Tip: We prefer the atrium rooms which offer more privacy and quiet. There is really nothing to see from...

Harbourside Inn is right in the middle of downtime Boston. It's right in the middle of the financial district. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk away from all major tourist attractions. The subway and bus stops are right outside the hotel door almost. There are plenty of little shops/restaurants nearby.

Our room didn't include breakfast, but there is a place next door that does breakfast for $8.50 with eggs, potato, toast and coffee. The room was great was super clean and easy to use. All facilities in the room were excellent.

Parking is expensive, cost us $30. But every city in USA is stupid prices for parking during the day.

Room Tip: Pick a room on a high floor to avoid rooms with bar noise.
