“One of the best Courtyard Hotels EVER!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012

I stayed at this Courtyard twice in March, and it is a gem of a hotel. Although out by BOS Logan, it was a paradise, with a very stylish Lobby, Lounge and perfect rooms. A nice view of the Logan approach pattern, it is in a smaller neighborhood. But, the hotel will shuttle you to local restaurants in the area that are a slice of the local culture. A quick bit of advice, it is not near atttactions, but........they will shuttle you at the Logan T Metro and in 8 minutes, you are in the heart of Boston. I love the fact that our office is the 1st T stop in BOS at Aquarium!
If on a short layover, or not up for downtown $$$ prices, go C'Yard Logan and enjoy!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking Logan to watch the flights arrive over the Bay

For years we have used Best Western in Qunicy for our "stay, park & fly needs", however, recent shuttle issues (waiting over an hour) and lack of response from management led us to seek another property. We stayed at the Marriott for one night pre-flight, and left our car for the week. The hotel was easy to get to, rooms are comfortable and surprisingly quiet for location. We had dinner in the restaurant; the menu had nice selections and service was good. It was difficult to find a parking space and we left the car way out back. The lot was well-lit.
There was quite a crowd for the Saturday early morning shuttles and they did fill up. Within ten minutes, we were dropped off at the terminal. Upon return, we called as directed and were picked up 15 minutes later. The shuttle did stop a number of times at various terminals taking about 15 minutes to return to the hotel.

I have stayed at many Courtyards and this one in my opinion is the best candidate for a renovation. The service was OK and pleasant, but not quite as professional as I am accustomed to.

The room was clean and fairly average with a good work desk. The walls were thinner than usual, as I could hear the couple in the next room with too much clarity.

The restaurant needs particular attention. It is pretty dark and shabby looking. behind the bar their bottles consist of about 6 different liquors lined up in a row. Despite there being only about 6 people at the bar, I waited about 5 minutes before getting the bartender's attention. She was very busy talking with another waiter. The food I ordered there was actually pretty good.

So all in all this was an average stay, but the hotel needs attention and the restaurant needs an upgrade and better hiring practices As other reviews have stated, it is located in an industrial area so there is not much in the area as alternatives for eating.

I had a seminar the next morning so instead of trying to avoid traffic going to boston in the morning, i decided to get there early and spent the night. Upon checking in, the staff was nice though I had to go through two different reps to get the room with a king bed vs. 2 queen beds. overall the room was very modern, small but enough for me to setup my work station and participate in several conference call. When i checkout in the morning, one of the rep refused to give me the receipt stating I booked through expedia so she can't give me anything and that i had to print it through expedia. Again, if i had talked to a different rep, i think it wouldn't be an issue. So word of advice, be weary of who you talk to as your result will vary.

Room Tip: if you're alone, asked for the king bed even though it's a queen side, they like to call it...

The parking lot is not well lit and the hotel is in an industrial section of town. Had to park very far away from the building because I arrived at around 10pm. Did not feel safe walking from the car late at night. The hotel appears to be nice cosmetically, and the room was clean, but the building itself, the walls, the elevator, etc., are all very old. The ceiling in my room had a large crack that ran from wall to wall that looked like it was repeatedly patched. During the night, the room went back and forth from hot to cold. The staff was rude at check in, but I did not have any interaction aside from that. Bottom line: I usually really enjoy staying at Courtyard Marriott properties, but I will not be a repeat customer at this location.

This is the second time we have stayed here and did the Parking and Stay package before flying out of Logan. Arrived to hotel about 5pm and front desk agent was very pleasant. Dropped off our luggage in room and went back downstairs to the restaurant to grab a bite. The waiter was also very pleasant. We had a great meal. The room is very large for a airport hotel and bed was very comfy. We will be back again in May for our next trip..

This is the second time we have stayed here before flying out of Logan. The hotel is perfectly located and the room is very comfortable. The van operates 24 hours a day and we have never had a problem getting a ride. The one minor weakness is the menu in the restaurant. It is very limited and the food is just okay but I don't stay here for the restaurant, I stay for the parking. I highly recommend and will definatly use this hotel again.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good.
