“The Best Hotel I've Ever Stayed In.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

This is the second time I've stayed here. I stay in ALOT of hotels and am on the road every week for my job. There is simply no better accommodations than Seaport. Beautiful rooms and amenities, great bar/restaurant area, ideal for working. Seaport makes working here an absolute pleasure. Book early- you won't be disappointed! There is a reason this hotel sells out.

We took a spur of the moment overnight trip to Boston. Got a reasonable last minute rate via a competitive web site.

The location is good, not great. Bit of hike to the touristy spots, however not unreasonable. The hotel is located near the end of a runway at Logan airport, you'd never know it unless you look out the window though. Very quiet in the room.

The service was really top notch, some of the best I've ever experienced in a largish hotel. The front desk was extremely accommodating, bar tenders in the lounge were great, we even got a lot attention at the buffet breakfast the next morning.

Room was clean and modern. Had about a 40" flat screen TV, but no HD signal. Bathroom was typical, but very clean and new looking.

You will be alerted to this by the front desk, just be aware that they tag a "tip" on to everything. The service was great, so I didn't feel ripped off - but it did seem to make prices of things like cocktails seem higher than expected. At the end of the day I would have spent the same amount anyway.

I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Just ask for what you want.

I visited Boston for the CEOs for Cities Conference in October 2012 and was greeted warmly by staff at the Seaport Boston Hotel upon check in. I was fascinated by the soundproof windows in the hotel, and the beautiful view of the harbor. It was a smooth transition to the Silver Line from Logan to get to and from the airport as well. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others who are considering lodging at Seaport Boston!

Thank you for taking the time to write. I’m very pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay during the recent conference, and that you were able to transition to and from the airport with ease. We are fortunate to be so close (and yet so far away!) from Logan.

Kind regards,

We stayed at the Seaport Boston Hotel in September of 2012 and though it was very good in many respects. The amenities were good and the staff were attentive and helpful. The garage was fine and they did not make us use the valet, as I, personally, prefer self-parking. If my recollection is accurate, the hotel offered free Internet.

We believed the hotel was a bit out of the way from the rest of the city, especially, the North End. However, a $10 cab ride got there in no time.

It isn't worth it to come to Boston without taking a look at the harbor and what better way to do it than looking out your hotel window. Of course this hotel is a bit pricier than the rest but it is also cleaner, has friendlier staff, great food and an ideal location.

I stayed at the Seaport Boston Hotel during hurricane Sandy. I found the amenities to be excellent. What makes this hotel so outstanding is that they went the extra mile. Instead of supplying wasteful shampoo and conditioner bottles, convenient dispensers where located in the shower. The hotel offers free WiFi. The maids were very polite and worked around my schedule. The hotel is a short walk from downtown and the convention center.

The one thing I would have changed was control over the room climate. When three people share a room and all take a shower within an hour in the morning, the air quality suffers. Better ventilation, or ventilation which can be controlled, would be a plus.

would probably only stay here again if have business in the hotel/immediate area. it's a bit out of the way to get to the rest of the city, tho it's convenient for the airport and south station via silver line. the 6min cab ride to the airport is $20 or something. very good, friendly service all around. the rooms are comfortable enough tho feel like a nicer business hotel than a 5-star. the bathrooms are standard and the shower has low water pressure, probably cause the hotel is green. would be cozy to have a thick down comforter on the bed (they use thin down quilts), felt a bit chilly at night. free wifi!! quite unusual these days. fridge and microwave upon request came in handy after having to extend our stay 3 days due to hurricane sandy. the windows here must be like bulletproof. couldn't hear a thing from outside while sandy was practically blowing trees in half. but regular noise from neighboring guestrooms was audible, conference calls, TV, shower, door and drawers open/close etc. parking on-site, cabs readily available out front.

the gym here is above average from normal hotel gym, probably because it is an actual member gym. in addition to a bunch of cardio and weight machines, there's bench, pullup and pulley weights setup, couple kettlebells. the pool is 50ft, 3 lanes and has kickboards and floaty dumbbells. never had to share lanes for laps. they closed the pool for maintenance in the middle of our stay and arranged for guests to use other hotel pools, which was quite accommodating. renaissance 2 blocks away has a 25yd pool with 2 lanes, no training aids. seaport gym is nicer than renaissance.

room service was quite tasty and fast and some items really not so expensive ($6 chicken caesar, wow!). aura may have had an off night the night we went because of sandy. quite a few food options in the area from mortons to some trendy bars, rosa mexicano, dunkin donuts, yankee lobster seafood shack. 7-11 across the street is convenient for snacks and water. flour bakery is a short walk away, for great sandwiches and sticky buns. barbara lynch's menton and sportello are also not too far.

Room Tip: there's harborviews if that's important. every side of the hotel must be quiet since the win...
