“Great place to get into the city without too much chaos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

We went to the Seaport for a weekend away from the suburbs with the kids. Our stay was fantastic. On check-in, the staff told us about the treasure chest that they have near the front desk. The chest is full of toys, and the kids got to each select (and keep) the toys! The kids were thrilled and it made check-in easier for us!! The room was really nice, and we love that they're "green" and had soap, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers. The hotel was quiet, even with multiple weddings happening on the weekend we were there. The staff is amazing, always friendly, whether we were in the elevator or guests at the restaurant. The pool was nice and warm the whole time we were there, and the kids had a blast. We would definitely stay at the Seaport again. They have great views of the city while being a little more off the beaten path.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a view of Boston harbor, which is pretty.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It was a really good experience. The personnel was helpfull even before we got there! I had some questions about what to do, eat, schedules and they were more than happy to answer them and helped me. The room was great. We decided to have a 30 minutes massage.. OMG! it was really really good! I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommended it to everybody.

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel during our trip to Boston. We couldn't be happier that we did! The hotel was beautiful, very clean and modern. Every single person we came in contact with that worked there was extremely friendly and very helpful. The gentleman that brought our bags to the room had asked my husband the reason for our stay. We were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. We spent a few hours walking around the city and when we returned to our room there was a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a lovely note from the staff at the Seaport Hotel congratulating us and extending their warmest wishes! It was unbelievable! Everything from the friendliest people to one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in, made this the best hotel stay ever! We will be recommending this hotel to everyone! Oh, the bar downstairs is great as well!

Stayed here for 3 nights before heading back home. I promised my wife 4 years ago when we came back to the area to visit family we would stay in Boston for a few days. I knew I wanted to stay near the airport and stumbled upon this nice gem. Great location in an up and coming neighborhood. The Seaport district didn't look like this last time I was visiting.
1 Mile walk to Quincy Market, Aquarium, North End. We walked clear to Fenway and back. Boston is a great city to walk around. Grab a backpack, bring some water, and go for a hike across town.
Hotel- Beds were GREAT, pillows were amazing and you can order a custom one if needed. Business oriented. Gym was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Food- In hotel has many options. Walk 5 minutes a block away and there were plenty of options.

Room Tip: All rooms are great

Our room was a corner suite with 2 windows overlooking the water, boats and the airport, which is just across the port/harbor. Since it was our anniversary, I booked the sweetheart deal which included chocolate covered strawberries, champagne and breakfast the next morning. All of this was beautifully presented and quite tasteful. The bed was great with a very comfortable mattress, the bathroom was spotless and Wi-Fi was flawless. We were taking a cruise the following day and were able to 'hitch' a ride to the cruiseport and other than the extra taxes and fees that are customary to the area, it was a fantastic choice for us.

Room Tip: Corner suites have fantastic views of the water! Watching the planes take-off and land at Logan air...

From very friendly and helpful check in til check out, this was a great experience. Comfortable bed, Keurig coffee maker with half and half in the room. No charge for extras - business center, fitness center and even gratuity covered. Everything clean and brand new feeling. Loved getting a choice of newspaper and the clear evidence of being green. They gave me a running map and it was great! Location was also good - close to T and airport and downtown.

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend for a little anniversary get-a-way. The staff were terrific and very helpful. The room was great, with a wonderful view of the water and Logan Airport. The only negative for me is the bed was very very firm. I felt like I was sleeping on a cement block. The heavenly bed this was not. A suggestion would be to provide a pillow top for the mattress. Other than that, the rooms were clean and modern and for a city hotel, pretty roomy. I would recommend this hotel. It is close to everything or a short cab drive to most things.

Thank you for taking the time to write. I am sorry to hear you found our beds too firm for your liking. We do offer a Pillow Library which includes a Feather Bed that can be added for additional comfort. I hope you will consider Seaport for any future Boston visits, and if so, please contact our Housekeeping department; the team would be pleased to assist in making your accommodations more to your liking.
