“Service and food great - noise not so great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

I last stayed in this hotel 8 years ago. It is still as convenient as ever, with hotel shuttle willing to bring you anywhere on the airport, including car rentals, public transport station, etc. I especially enjoyed the breakfast menu...a number of creative and light options if you don't go fo the breakfast buffet. And the most close to my heart, the iced tea was made fresh at the table in its own teapot.

The downside is the noise. The rooms are not soundproofed and if you are unlucky enough to have noisy occupants on your floor, even if a few doors down, the sound carries. Also the property is starting to show some wear and tear....could use some refurbishing.

“Great Airport Hotel w Great amenities”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

We stayed here on 11/27 and again on 11/29 with a stay in the middle at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. We arrived very late into Logan and were leaving very early on the 30th so chose to stay at Logan. AGAIN these properties are staffed VERY well!! The service is Great from everyone we encounter. Hyatt trains their staff so well across ALL eight brands!!

“Fantastic Hotel!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

Stayed here for one night recently and I can honestly say its one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in,airport or otherwise, immaculately kept, friendly staff, pity it was only one night as I would like to have stayed longer, excellent views of downtown Boston and the harbour on one side and the airport on the other,if you fly in or out of Boston, this place is recommended.

“Quality and Convenience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

We chose this hotel at the end of New England because of its convenient location and the reputation. On the whole our stay was excellent, but I will start with my major criticism. It's always nice to be able to get to the airport with the minimum of fuss after a long holiday, and the Hyatt with its free shuttle bus and proximity to the airport supposedly provided this. However, our experience was the opposite. After boarding the shuttle, we were then driven around the airport but the driver failed to take us to our terminal, despite us highlighting this to him; after a 20+ minute journey we ended back at the Hyatt. It was a busy Friday before the Labor Day weekend and taxi queues in the airport were lengthy. The driver started to pick-up non-Hyatt customers trying to flee the airport, and filled the bus to capacity. Once back at the hotel, the hotel manager seemed unconcerned by the fact that we had been on a mystery tour of the airport, which had unnecessarily delayed our international check-in. He tried to say that the bus can be used by anyone - an interesting statement in my mind - but even if that was the case, then surely not to the detriment of Hyatt customers paying good money to stay at the hotel. After insisting we be taken directly to our terminal, he then said the bus would need to follow the standard route, meaning that our terminal would again be the last drop-off. Customer service at its best - not - and it is unfortuntate that our lasting impression was a negative one. Fortunately, the driver saw sense, and took us straight to our terminal. On the positive side, the hotel was clean and tidy with very good facilities, including the pool and gym, although it is disappointing that a hotel of this standard does not provide complimentary Internet. Our room on one of the upper floors overlooking the airport was quiet with tremendous views. Breakfast was of a very high standard and we ate in the restaurant on one evening; the staff were friendly and attentive and the food delicious. River taxis were the most direct means of getting to downtown Boston, but use the 'massport' or 'T' taxis which are significantly cheaper than the others available. Overall, an enjoyable stay, let down by poor attention to detail and customer care by the management; the restaurant staff on the other hand were excellent.

“Boston is expensive, so this hotel is not that expensive....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

Great location, patio dining is just fun. The staff was wonderful, from the bell staff, front desk staff, maid service, and wait staff in the restaurant. There are good value choices on the menu. You just have to choose wisely. Gym is standard Hyatt with enough equipment for a good workout if you are smart about it. Bring your own wi-fi hot spot and who cares how much they charge for internet service......
