“Attractive, enjoyable airport hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2012

We've stayed here a few times when flying out of Boston. The rooms are large, clean and attractive, with two queen-size beds which work well for our family. The staff are all helpful, the restaurant is good and the views are outstanding. The shuttle to the airport is very efficient and they will also collect you from car hire sites. In fact we find it more convenient than the Hilton, which is theoretically in walking distance of Logan but actually quite a way to go with luggage. If I have a complaint, it is that it seems a tiny bit expensive for what it is; but maybe that's just Boston.

Very nice, clean hotel. Staff were always polite and willing to help answer questions regarding where to eat, how to get to the T etc...
The hotel shuttle will take you to the train station to catch the T and from there you can get to just about anywhere in the city. It was really easy to get to Quincy Market, and The North End on the blue line.
The restaurant staff was also very accomodating and the food very good but a bit pricey. Best New England Clam Chowder I've had in a while (and I am a picky, native,New Englander when it comes to my chowder). The hotel is right next to Logan, but I hardly heard the sound of planes at all. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.
My only negative comment is the cost of internet, and even a cost to use the business center.

Room Tip: Airport view was nice, but the city view rooms would be a better choice.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Our first stay was memorable -- great view and outdoor dining at a great price. Our second stay over the weekend unfortunately was not so great as there were people next to us and you could literally hear them talk as if they were in your room. While we were equally pleased with the restaurant and service both at dinner and breakfast, if you can't get a good night sleep, then what's the point. The hotels should invest a little more money in construction and noise proofing.

Room Tip: Go for the harbor view room which makes it worth it. We made the mistake this time around to pick a...

We stayed here for a wedding in October and it was perfect! We were only there for one night but all was great and they did a fantastic job on the wedding. We also ordered room service since we had way too much to drink but from what I can remember the lobster mac and cheese was delish!!! For breakfast I had the lobster omellette and it was outstanding. We came back in January for a chess tournament-not sure why the room rate was 100 dollars less per night from what it was in October at the wedding, but again a great time, I sat in the bar most of the time and the service all around was great! We love this hotel and will return next year if they host again for another chess tournament!!

Take an ocean view room otherwise don't bother going there because the whole point of this hotel is to benefit from the view! The view is absolutely incredible whether from the room or the restaurant, whether indoor or even outdoor where you can relax on the grass in front of the ocean.

If you don't care about the view, you can't afford or you're not willing to pay that much for an ocean view room, don't go there! Go to a hotel in downtown (DT) instead. Airport in Boston is really close to DT so if you think you'd be late to your flight by taking a hotel there you're wrong...

The room was nice and up to the standards, but nothing special (the room could be more spacious)

Since the hotel is not at walking distance from downtown you'll need to take public transportation (cab, boat shuttle...)

It was a nice experience overall but next time I go to Boston I'll stay in DT because it's more practical. Ideally I would stay between this hotel and another one in DT...

Room Tip: Ocean view room is a must!

The room was awsome . The view from our room was incredible. The service secound to nobody. I cant say enough about the staff they are excellent. It was the nicest hotel I ever stayed in. It was clean and the food great. It has one of the nicest gyms ive seen in a hotel. I would like to thank Louis for the upgrade. He was great . The hyatt is lucky to have him. The water taxi takes you to the north end in 5 minutes, it cost 10 buck or 17 both ways. Which was the best way to go. I would recomend this hotel to anybody.

Advantages: nice views of Boston harbor, shuttle to Logan airport, clean rooms and bathrooms, easy check-in

Dsadvantage: even though it looks like the location is centralized, you have to take the subway to downtown Boston. this is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Thank you for your positive review of the Hyatt Harborside. I highly appreciate your feedback and comments. In addition to our 24 hour free shuttle that can take you to the airport as well as the Blue line T stop, there is also a water taxi service just outside of the hotel that can take you to several stops in downtown Boston. You may also purchase water taxi tickets at our front desk for your convenience.
