We enjoy taking in the sights of Boston at Christmastime whenever possible and always stay at the Sheraton. This hotel provides the perfect atmosphere in which to take in the city. We have had several different rooms and were more than pleased with each one. All were well appointed, well maintained and absolutely beautiful. Reception provides efficent, welcoming service, and concierge service also is excellent. The Sheraton is directly connected to the Prudential Center Shops with walking access to Copley Place. Excellent shopping and dining options are available without having to go out in inclement weather.

We stayed for just one night after arriving in Amtrak and were very pleased. Great location - connected to the mall which was great since it was so cold outside! The hotel was very nice and modern. Also close to the trolley stop which was helpful.

I stayed 1.3-1.6, 2013 for a business conference. I had forgotten that I had long ago signed up for the Starwoods points program, but at check-in the desk clerk offered to look me up. Sure enough, I was there--it's free, by the way--and this entitled me to a room upgrade and FREE access to the customer lounge where there was a free breakfast daily, free coffee machine and bottled water and drinks 24/7, and other amenities. My room was clean and comfortable I had a beautiful view of the Charles River. Also, the fantastic woman who runs the Starwood breakfast lounge, named Memsura, went out of her way to find gluten-free breakfast cereal so that I could have some while I was a guest. She is a congenial, helpful, service-oriented professional who went the extra mile to help a guest with food allergies. I have had celiac disease for a decade and have NEVER had a hotel staff member go this extra distance so that I could eat breakfast! TOP MARKS for the Sheraton, and for Memsura in particular.

I stayed at the Sheraton at the beginning of January 2013, when I was in Boston for a convention. The hotel is huge, yet service was prompt and of good quality. They has special discounted rates for convention participants. Any problem was solved within minutes, the cleaning was excellent, if you declined service for a day you got a $5 coupon to be used in selected hotel stores. The mall is attached to the hotel and the Hynes convention center, so you can move about and mind your business without exiting the buildings. The hotel is a bit dated and the elevators could have worked better (they were fixing them), but the rooms were excellent and service was great too.
I was impressed by the kindness of reception staff, they offerred us complimentary bottles of water when stores were closed. There is a coffee / tea machine in the room and free bottled water as well.
