“Lovely "Home Away from Home"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

On my recent visit to visit my niece at Boston Conservatory, we stayed in this lovely B & B. the location was perfect - very close to the college, but set a bit off a main road. Close enough to walk to locations near for food and the local drug store. After touring downtown for a few days on a local trolley, we felt confident enough to actually walk into historical downtown from our location. We also walked over to see Fenway Park & the Victory Gardens park. The concierge we connected with the most was Victor - he was kind and helpful, and always had time to chat or answer questions. The room was pretty - very much local architecture, but nicely upgraded. We had two twin beds & our own bathroom. If I get to Boston again in the future, I will happily stay here. Prices much more reasonable than hotels, and again, a better taste of local architecture.

Room Tip: I would be sure to get a room with its own bathroom - some small ones shared a bath in the hall, whi...

I was recently in Boston for the MLA Convention at the Hynes Convention Center and found this bed and breakfast hotel after an intensive search on-line. I must say that it wasn´t cheap, but again, what is cheap in a city like Boston , right? It was very well situated, to the point that I could come and go from the Convention Center several times a day without getting tired. The house is nice and cozy, but the heater system is not great. Breakfast was ok, and attention was good. You have to share the bathroom if you stay in certain bedrooms, but that wasn’t a problem since it was clean and well kept. I don´t have bad things to say about the hotel. I recommend it for a quick visit and if you need a convenient place to stay.

I called in on the same day and was able to get a good double room with private bathroom. I slept well and the breakfast is all you need. I like that you can park your car for the night and the complete next day until 11pm for only 20 bucks. A garage would be much more! It is very central and close to the prudential shopping center. I had a godd stay here!

We stayed here for 6 days and used it as a base for exploring Boston. It is well situated in Back Bay for many attractions including the Prudential Tower and only minutes from the T and the Trolley stop. The room was clean and comfortable, maybe not as warm as we would have liked. The breakfast was excellent with a really good choice of breads and pastries and many different cereals and fruit -everything you could wish for. The decor and furniture is really interesting and very well maintained. It was great to have a living room where we could relax and a kitchen for making coffee etc. All in all a very pleasant experience and we would return when visiting Boston again

Room Tip: Room 205 had a lovely big bay window

I am a frequent business traveler, and when I do any leisure travel I always stay at the big chains. I like the comforts they offer. I stayed at the Oasis because it was close to my daughters apartment. I did not know what to expect. What I got was a good room, good bed and free wifi. The breakfast was excellent, breads, cereals and good coffee. It was nice not to have to spend $25 on a traditional breakfast, that never seems worth it. The location is perfect, close to everything. Granted the local construction noise is annoying, but that is the charm of Boston. Would definitely recommend this place for business and leisure travel.

Room was small but certainly adequate. Free WiFi. Decent continental breakfast. Host was very helpful (restaurant recommendations, sightseeing suggestions, travel help). Back Bay neighborhood is convenient to Newberry St, public gardens, historic sites, & several colleges. Will definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here. Simple room. But great location. Walking distance to shops and restos. And very near a Whole Foods too. The staff were very helpful. If there's no parking avai on the street, they'll be kind enough to guide you to the nearby parking bldg.
