“Good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

Stayed three nights with my wife. Room was small but clean. Everyone behind the desk was very helpful with giving us directions to various locations. Parking (at garage, three blocks) was discounted, after getting our garage ticket validated at the hotel. The A.C. unit was loud and blew directly on our bed. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not very strong, room got very humid. Was told the fans on the top two floors were underrated and they know it. Great breakfast at Billy's, around the corner. Would stay here again.

Stayed two nights in a twin-bedded room, small but perfectly-adequate. Hotel was clean, quiet and well-located. Everything we wanted to see was easily accessible. Air-conditioning very effective during the heat wave! Staff (Zach and David) were personable and helpful. Overall, a good experience and I'd have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Stayed two nights with my brother in a twin room. As other reviewers have stated, the rooms are tiny. However, they are well-designed and make the most of the room provided. Besides, we were there to see Boston, not the inside of a hotel room! The décor is clean & modern. Around the corner are two popular breakfast spots (we ate at Billy's Coffee Shop both days), and there are plenty of restaurants within a 2-3 block radius. Parking is not onsite, but it is only three blocks away and is any easy, and pretty, walk. The front desk staff was always friendly, smiling, and efficient. I will return to this hotel the next time I visit Boston!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor as there is a bar on the ground floor.

Not the "boutique" hotel we imagined . However, that is reflected in the price . The reception staff were efficient and well informed , but don't expect a porter !
The rooms are modest, though modern and clean and there are no frills . The location is convenient to most of what a tourist might wish to see .

Rooms are small, well arranged, very clean, and quite comfortable. No street noise, so with the comfortable beds it's easy to get a good night's sleep. They allow small dogs and treat them nicely. Staff is very helpful and easy to deal with. Location is great, within walking distance (less than 1 mile) of some very good restaurants.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Chandler Inn for four nights and couldn't have been happier. We had an end room on the 3rd floor with two windows to view the city. We were in close location to shopping, awesom restaurants and the T. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at the Chandler Inn for a unique experience in Boston!

The room was nice, but it is fairly small and very basic. No frills, but a comfy, quiet place to crash and sleep in after a day full of sightseeing. It is in a very cute, cozy, residential part of Back Bay that is fairly central to everything. Boston Common, Newbury Street, Copley square are all just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are sunny and top floors have a great view!
