“Wonderful meal - great evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Decided at the last minute to go out for dinner on a Saturday night. Was able to get a great table by the fire at 8:30 at night. Started with a raspberry tart-tini. To die for. The bread comes with a delicious white bean spread. As an appetizer we split the tuna tartar which is a bit spicy but heavenly. Our entrees were equally delicious. I went with the scallops which were accompanied by a moist and delicious spinach risotto. Based on the waitress' recommendation my husband went with the duck breast and he was not disappointed. The dessert menu was tempting but we were too full. We will definitely be back soon.

“Love this place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

I have been to the Rustic Kitchen in Hingham, this one Downtown is so beautiful. Great decor and seperate side bar areas. The food is good...but, very expensive. Its connected to the Revere Hotel, which is very modern and cool so its a great area to hang out in if you are willing to pay and park in an expensive garage. Great drinks here too.

“Always a good choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Rustic Kitchen is consistently good whether for drinks and appetizers or a full meal. The basics don't change but there are always new and interesting items on the menu. We have dined at Rustic Kitchen so many times over the years and it has never disappointed. Highly recommend.

“Rustic Kitchen made my list of favorites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

From the moment we walked into Rustic Kitchen the service was superb. We had a 730 reservation and we arrived at 700 Saturday night and we were seated immediately. We were also offered 2 choices of tables, a high top booth or a table in the middle of the dining room closest to the bar. We chose the high top booth which was perfect for our occasion which was our 1st anniversary. My wife ordered the baked stuffed Haddock and I ordered the Shrimp, Scallop Spagetini. Both dishes were excellent and the portions were quite large. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list and a long list of beers. When the bill arrived I was pleasantly surprised given the quality of the food and the attentive service.

This was an excellent choice for our anniversary and we will be back!

“Service and atmosphere are stellar, much of the food is over-rich.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013 via mobile

I think rustic doesn't have to mean rich and caloric. The swordfish and cheesecake were not good, but we loved the mussels and the beef stroganoff - just avoid things that sound laden with butter because they will be. The service was outstanding though, and the atmosphere is really great - excellent wine list.
