“Nice property, great location, BUT...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

All you would expect from this brand hotel, great service, wonderful staff, etc. except for a few minor items and one major complaint.

1. The major complaint is the fire department is literally across the street. Great to know if we catch on fire, but terrible if you're trying to sleep! The sirens are loud of course, and the sound echos around the other buildings, which does not make for restful sleep. I am not a very light sleeper, but I was woken up four times my first night. I asked for a room on the other side of the building the next morning. They moved me without a problem, but the volume didn't diminish much and I was woken up three times the second night. Thankfully CVS is a short walk away, ear plugs allowed me to sleep uninterrupted the duration of my stay.

2. The beds are hard. Two rooms, four beds, none were comfy. They honestly felt like a $200 mattress with a $50 pillow top cover on top. Not what I was expecting for the price of the rooms.

3. TV was a flat panel, but very small, maybe 32"? I wasnt expecting a 55" but again, for the price of the room 42" would be more appropriate.

4. Rooms were nicely done, odd to see two full beds in each versus the traditional queens, ask for a king if you're coming with a significant other.

“Great location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Though we only stayed in this hotel one night, we would definitely return when in Boston. The location is superb...two blocks from South Station in the heart of the Financial district. Very close to the Aquarium, North End, Fanuiel Hall and Haymarket Square.
The rooms are quite spacious, the bathroom huge with plenty of towels. We found it immaculately clean. The corridors have many twist and turns, so you could have difficulty finding your room, but they are very quiet.
The lobby is large, with two or three restaurants to choose from. There is a lovely area out back to sit and enjoy the sunny weather and great views of Boston Harbor.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

“All Around Quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Excellent experience over all. Spotless, comfortable rooms. Great location. Terrific service.

I particularly enjoyed the fitness center. I am something of a connoisseur of hotel fitness centers, and this was one of the best around (slightly larger and more modern than Boston Harbor Hotel).

“Excellent stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Modern hotel located conveniently near all amenities. Hotel staff were very welcoming and accommodating to allow for early check in when we arrived. Valet parking worked very well and was worth the $40. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

“Modern, good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Great hotel, really comfy bed, good food with excellent waitresses in the bar area, very helpful staff all round. The location is really central, some might say a little pricey but I got a good deal and you nearly always get what you pay for with hotels.

I'd say highly recommended if you can afford it.
