Check-in staff were helpful and efficient, but everything went downhill from there.
Housekeeping was spotty at best- did not even know the difference between hypoallergenic bedding and feathers, did not leave full array of bathroom vanity items... had to ask for enough towels, washcloths, towels and a shower cap.
Restaurant food was poor -even the salads had wilted lettuce.
Conference food was cold when it was supposed to be hot. The only thing that was edible was the fruit and hot clam chowder. Even the breakfast bagels were cold and both the toasters supplied were broken.
There would be absolutely reason to stay at this hotel unless you were attending a conference or convention since the location is not close to normal tourist spots or subway stations that can take you to other areas of the city.
