“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

The hall was run down, the stage was messy and the whole production seemed to be disorganized. The musicians themselves were great but I had much higher expectations from Symphony Hall!

“An institution in Boston. If you get a chance don't miss them!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

If you have a chance to see BSO in Symphony Hall, don't pass it up. The quality of this symphony is amazing, and the fun they have with holidays, their Pops group that plays on the Esplanade, all provide a huge amount of enjoyment and they mix it up with style so you're not stuck with a lot of heavy music, or just pop. I've seen a number of orchestras around the world, and BSO has a way that touches their audiences and acknowledges the varying tastes so they're accessible.

“Part of our trip of Symphony concerts.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

Historic, wonderful old concert hall with a top flight orchestra. Maybe because it was Election Night, but it was depressing to see so many empty seats.

“A must attend, if one has the opportunity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

A spiritual combination between both sides of the Atlantic ocean. The program I attended was a combination of modern and classical pieces (Saariaho, Britten and Dvořák). An excellent conductor Juanjo and such a remarkable performance of the violinist Gil Shaham.
