Last night we went with a group of 6. We were served ably by two young French waiters. The fois gras and mussels appetizers were excellent, as was the onion soup, although the beet salad with goat cheese was rather plain, simply slabbed together on a plate. The venison and beef bourguignon were beautifully seasoned, real bistro comfort foods for a cold winter night. Reasonably sized portions, neither tiny nor mega-sized. Passion fruit creme brulee was a bit too intensely flavored for me but the crust was perfect. Since it was midweek, the restaurant wasn't crowded, so tables were not claustrophobic although they certainly are close together. All in all, a homey French meal and wonderfully warm atmosphere.
