“The King of Sports Bars...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

I really like the Fours and eat there at least once a week. It's a great sports bar so the menu has your typical bar food choices, plenty of TVs to watch whether you are sitting at the bar or at a table, and bartenders that treat you like they enjoy working there and value your business, which is nice. We always sit at the bar and have gotten excellent service from Ian & Jen, and Patrick (the Manager) is always great. We notice and appreciate that they really want us to enjoy it enough so we'll keep coming back. They buffalo wings, NY Strip, steak tips, chicken parm are delicious but everything i've seen looks good. The atmosphere is that of a true sports bar with signed and unsigned memorabilia hanging on every inch of wall-space possible. I rarely sit at a table but when i have the service has been very good as well. This is a sports bar that has high-standards and cares about the experience you have when you go there.
Whether you're passing through to kill time before your train arrives, looking for a place to have some drinks and a bite to eat before the concert or game, or live close by and looking for another dining option, you will love it here.

“Sports and beers!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

I think this place maybe for the corporate workd but it is really good. Foo was excellent I had the turkey tips and they were excellent lots of flavor and not over cooked. Waiter was very good as well came around a lot to ask us what we wanted. Overall it is a great place to go to as they have a huge sports collection of autographs and picture and collectors items.

“Great Sports Bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

We got into Boston at 3:00 on Sunday afternoon and went looking for a sports bar to watch the Redskins/Viking game. Of course, most TVs in Boston are tuned to the Patriots so this presented a challenge. We ended up at the Fours on Canal Street and asked the Manager if they had any TVs playing the Skins. He sent us upstairs and one lonely TV in the corner had the Redskins game on. The sound in the room was coming from the many TVs playing the Patriots game but that was Ok, as long as we could watch the game. The upstairs bar was almost empty but our waitress was very nice - brought us beers and nachos and basically told us she would leave us alone to watch the game and if we needed anything else to let her know. She said she didn't want to be like the "stalking waitress". We ordered sandwiches at halftime and some more beers during the second half. No one bugged us or told us that we couldn't spend 3 hours sitting at the table watching the game so we were grateful. We really enjoyed ourselves, especially since the Redskins won!!!!!

“Solid eatery near the TD Garden”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012 via mobile

My sister, niece and I traveled from Maine on the train for a day trip. After a busy day of sightseeing, we wanted to round out the day near the train station (at the TD Garden) since we would be tired.

The food is great, especially for pub fare- we split a chicken quesadilla to start. I had the pasta primavera with marinara sauce and it was very good; the marinara sauce had more flavor and better texture than most. My niece had the macaroni and cheese with buffalo chicken and my sister had steak tips. They both enjoyed their food as well. Good-sized portions.

Our waitress was friendly and encouraged us to take our time. My only complaint was the noise- it was not a game day at the Garden, but between all the tv's and patrons loudly exclaiming over the various games that we on, it was a little jarring.

However I did know that it is a sports pub, so some of that is to be expected. Next time I'll ask for a quieter space upstairs (which also has more bathrooms, by the way). All in all it was a positive experience.

“Great sports bar.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

The food was excellent for a sports bar. Staff was friendly and we went there a couple of times. Try the wedge salad with bleu cheese and the chowder. Both are wonderful!
