“Wedding Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

We originally booked City Landing, back in November, for a family get together. This changed in February to a wedding dinner, City Landing could not be more accommodating.
We were able to put together our own menu using items from pre existing menus. They were able to provide gluten free options, which was excellent as we had a couple in our party with allergies.
Chris, the events co-ordinator kept in contact with us, right down to a few days previous when we popped in to choose the wine for the meal.
On the day, the waiting team served our guests with ease. The pace of the meal was dictated by us, allowing for toasts and an opportunity for us to speak to our guests. The feedback from everyone was that it was the best wedding dinner they had had.
After the meal we were able to move to the bar area to continue celebrating, without being rushed to leave.
Overall an amazing meal that helped to make our day even more special and memorable.
Thanks to everyone at City Landing xx

“A great restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

We stopped for a late dinner and had a good meal and service. We had Mussels, pizza and the hoisin Tuna. The mussels and tuna were excellent, pizza was good. Wine by the glass was a bit pricey, but OK by the bottle. We would return here again for sure.

“Wow a great new restaurant that I will recommend highly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

Went on a date night with my wife from suburbs to Boston in search of new place. We loved everything from ambience, fine waiter mark and the food. Bill seemed reasonable and we will definitely return.

“Wonderful location, food, experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

This restaurant is in a perfect location for anyone exploring the waterfront or the Rose Kennedy Greenway. I would recommend it for a luncheon destination, either in the middle of a day of sightseeing or at the end of the day's excursions. (Check the website for luncheon hours.) It is a wonderful, restful place, either inside or (somewhat less so considering the nearby traffic noise) at one of the outside tables. As others have mentioned, they have many listings for gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dining. It is a luxury indeed to have dietary restrictions and go into a restaurant where you have so many choices. Our waiter knew the menu inside and out and advised me wisely when it came to choosing a gluten-free meal. His suggestions were equally on-the-mark for those I was with who have no restrictions. Interesting dynamic: The place is beautifully understated and yet elegant; We were casually dressed and felt right at home yet also felt we were in a special place. If I have any complaint, it is that the name is forgettable. In a highly trafficked area with so many restaurants from which to choose, City Landing is too bland a name for this excellent restaurant.

“Something for everyone-veggie, gluten free, or carnivore. Next to Marriott and near Faneuil Hall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

After feeling frustrated in our attempts to find interesting vegetarian food in and near Faneuil Hall, we decided to look at one more menu. We are so glad that we did! Not only did City Landing have a vegetarian menu with vegan options, but they have a separate menu for gluten free mentioning those with celiac disease. A rare find, indeed. They also have a regular menu. The Gazpacho Soup was, perhaps, the best we've tasted, anywhere! The mushroom pizza with truffle oil was delicious! The veggie burger was excellent with just a little "kick" from the chipotle mayo. The fries were tasty, crunchy and not overly fried. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert. This gem of a restaurant should be on the radar of any vegetarian or anyone with any interesting dietary concerns. By the way, my meat eating husband was equally thrilled. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely make this our first stop for dining when we return.
