“Authentic Italian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

We went based on reviews we read on Trip Advisor. I had trouble getting through to make a reservation due to a glitch with their new fax machine. We went anyway on a busy night and they were more than happy to accommodate us. The waitress was friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals--traditional lasagna with a homemade meatball and pumpkin ravioli.

“Fun and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

We had made a reservation based on TripAdvisor reviews. Wanted something in the North End.
It was a chillly night in Boston and we felt winter approaching. And then we were seated and ordered and the home cooked food arrived and we forgot about the chill. The dinner wa amazing including the best pumpkin ravioli we had ever tasted and the warmth and festive atmosphere with some red wine took us in. Can't wait to return. From the minestrone,, to the sauateed calamari to the fig salad and pata bolognese, it wa a perfectly blalnced meal.

“Great food, great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Went here on a friend's recommendation, and was not disappointed. We made reservations and were seated a few minutes early. The restaurants is small, so I recommend calling ahead to reserve a table. There was a long line when we left. The waitstaff was extremely friendly. The food was very tasty. The portions were large, so you will not leave hungry. The prices are also very reasonable. The kids all wanted to go back the next night. Will definitely return.

“eat here if you are not italian”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012 via mobile

the restaurant was ok. the service also. . but the pasta with calamari and shrimps fra diavolo was not salted. every italian knows that the water in which the noodle are cooked needs to be salted. it was not so only for this it makes it of cheap quality. there was no table clothing. .. eating on naked Wood makes it also cheap. the fettuccine alfredo then were over dressed with a lot of butter and parmeasan. overall the quality of the food was low and we paid 25 dollars which is way too much forse it.
