We were looking for a good Italian place on Hanover, which was a bit overwhelming. We kept walking until we came to Maurizio's. It was a small, warm space packed tightly with a few tables, (there is more seating downstairs), and a window to the kitchen. One chef was cranking out everything, and our meal was fantastic. We started with the Calamari Fritti, and it was cooked perfectly. Then we ordered Gnocchi Alla Salvia, Malloreddus Alla Campidanese, and Gnocchi Alla Salvia, which was to die for. The gnocchi were so soft and the sauce was a mascarpone cream sage sauce....so velvety and amazing! The place reminded me of the little places you find in Europe, and I loved it,
