“Never disappoints”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

Charming and unassuming restaurant in the heart of Boston. The food is very good and consistent. Great place to have a simple, classic Margarita.

“As usual, always a delight!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

I love Casa Romero, you always know what you are getting. The portions can be a bit small but always tasty and fresh. The guac is not worth getting, very small portion and just okay. The ceviche is great, and goes perfectly with the complimentary chips and salsa. The perfect margarita is perfect, and strong which is nice. Enchiladas (they have so many types), and Tilapia with 2 sauces is always spot on. I love how each plate comes with a delicious side of mexican rice and refried beans, so simple but really tasty. We have been going here for years and its always consistent and always delicious. Try to sit out on the patio, its cute, romantic and tucked away from the craze of Newbury St.

“A hidden gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2012

This charming Mexican restaurant is on a side street off Boylston and though unassuming from the outside it has a wonderful ambiance inside. We sat outside in an interior courtyard, which was lovely. Delicious food and reasonably priced.

“Just Good Food,......For the past 25+ years”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

This is not fast mex food. It is very well perpared and they use only the best quality ingred. You do not stay in business that long serving food that people don't like. If you like Mexican Then go here.

I have been going to Casa Romero since shortly after it opened. I have NEVER had a poor meal.
Decor is authentic as is the menu.
