My wife and I chose Saraceno because it looked cozy and full. There was no room in the main dining area so we walked up steps from the street to a dining room in the adjacent building. It was large, but only had one table occupied. The atmosphere was very nice, and the sound level was low and comfortable for conversation. The service was good. I ordered the gnocchi and my wife ordered the lasagne. My gnocchi was ok, it is a matter of taste, but I didn't like the sauce. The lasagna hardly looked like lasagna, lots of hamburger meet and mozzarella cheese, but little evidence of layers and ricotta cheese. My wife was disappointed. We were charged $9.00 per glass of the house red which seems pricey.
I can't say for sure that it is related, but my wife had had literally nothing to eat but a slice of pizza the whole day (I had the same pizza) and she had symptoms of food poisoning about 1.5 hours after eating. She was sick all night, but ok the next morning. YMMV
