“Superb Seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

The seafood risotto and pan seared scallops were the best ever. Check out Boston's Copley Square and the Boston Public Library before dinner.

“Very tasty Hotel Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

I was surprisingly pleased with this restaurant. So many times hotel restaurants are good but not memorable. The lobster roll and fries were awesome. I like the lobster roll better than the high-ranked Island Grill Oyster bar and this is because the roll was great and the lobster filling was traditional without a lot of mayonnaise or strong seasonings like celery and red bell pepper. The lobster was the star!! Others dishes at the table were delish! For non-seafooders, the burger was great!! seriously! a very large delicate patty of local natural beef on a brioche bun. It had great flavor and texture and was cooked to perfection--served with amazing pomme frittes. Wine selection by the glass was eh,not a generous pour for the price, and prices by the bottle were way overpriced for what I am used to. Oh and lest I forget, the special soup was butternut/buttercup and very very delicious, a large creamy serving with homemade oyster crackers and a spicy-savory creme fraiche. Yum, I want to go back!

“Boston's Best Chowder”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Best chowder in Boston and best Bloody Mary ever! If you love shellfish then order the Atlantic Shelf. It's an assortment of lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters, mussels, clams, and scallops served on a bed of ice. Great atmosphere and service.

“Over time, the service has deteriorated....”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I have been going to Turner Fisheries for the last 5 years. The service has gone downhill. The waiters just just don't give a damn. They look at you and walk away. This has happened consistently over the last 2 years. The food is good, but the bad service ruins everything

“Hotel Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Turner Fisheries is a step-up from Legal Leafood a pleasant Hotel Restaurant in the same building as the Westin in Boston. We had the Beet Carpaccio made from golden beets as an appatizer and the Bouillabaisse (Fish Soup) which was very good. The Boston Cream Pie however must have been from Siscos frash of the deap frozen truck.
