“NEVER had a bad lunch-day here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

Across from MGH, found it by chance on a walk. Saw the white tablecloths, little window seat and stepped in. Since then have brought Mom, a brother, partner and best friend. Don't mind ever coming back here,...as long as it's for their great meal!

“Great Italian Outside North End”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is a great little Italian restaurant that's a neighborhood establishment and NOT in the north end! Located near MGH and around the corner from Charles St. in Beacon Hill, this restaurant has high quality dishes for reasonable prices. Lunch specials are great too! Plenty of food at low cost.

“Great for a quick meal near Mass General”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

We were visiting a family member who had surgery as MGH. We asked the guard for a recommendation for dinner and he told us to go to Antonio's - right across the street. This is a small, neighborhood Italian restaurant with large portions, friendly staff, relatively cheap wine and good food. Not fine dining but really good. Would go back there anytime. By the way, we were a group of six and they managed to seat us in five minutes despite being fully booked. They make the extra effort to help us.

“We were disappointed.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

The online ordering and delivery were fast and easy. That was the best part of my experience. Our group ordered a few difference dishes and the chicken parm and chicken allo antonios where pretty good . The tomato and mozzarella had no basil no Balsamic vinegar, def less than special. The bruschetta was made on mildly toasted baguette slices than were soggy from sitting in olive oil (we threw it out). Eggplant parm was just a bowl of mush. No bread or extra shredded cheese. Left me wishing I ordered from somewhere else among the many great Italian eateries.

“A Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Antonio's Restaurant on Cambridge St. Boston (right across from the main entrance to Massachusetts General Hospital) is the best homemade Italian food ever.
Unfortunately I had a patient at MGH but fortunately I was introduced to Antonio's !!
What a restaurant - the service is great, the wine the right temperature, the price extraordinarily fair and the food, suberb !!! I have gone six (that's 6) in one week for either lunch or dinner, wow,
one meal was better than the last. I can't wait to bring the whole family.
Reservations are accepted but expect to wait on week-ends - closed Sunday - they deserve it !!
