I gotta say: this place is slipping...BAD.
Went in there with my fiance for an anniversary dinner. Spent about 125 bucks and came out hungry. Her fish was fine, but I ordered some stuffed ravioli, and I was delivered about 5 puny ravioli that was barely enough for a 10 year old yet alone for a full gown man.
Wine (pinot) was balnd and served almost room temperature.
I asked if they had San Pelligrino. The waiter(who was good by the way) said they had "their own version of water with bubbles". The result was a bland bottle of what seemed like barely carbonated tap water....something you could make at home with a 10 dollar gizmo that u got at Walmart.
Tiramisu was kind of soggy.
I requested a "quiet" spot both in my email and in person and the concierge guy said: "How bout my office?" At least he was honest! The dB level in there was higher than your average bus or train station.
I lived in Italy for several years, so was excited by the prospect of authentic Italian cuisine. A couple of years back, they were closer. Not, it's just denigrated into a high-priced rip-off, faux Italian, bad water. with well-heeled yuppies getting hammered at the bar raising the noise level to excruciating levels.
