“Relaxing Lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Table by the window on a sunny day in Boston. We were not in a hurry, so it was nice and relaxing. Food was delicious, but somewhat average--not a write home about.

“Great place for family gathering”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Cozy atmosphere. Food is delicious. Portions are huge! Be careful with appetizers: the amount of foos is enough for 3-4 people. Family menu is great way to share food and have a taste of many entries and appetizers.

“NEVER AGAIN”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Ok, I try to keep an open mind with chain restaurants. This was our second time here (last time 4 years ago) and the experience was exactly the same as the first. Mediocure food, not great or even good service. WIthout going on and on the prices were fine, no complaints there. The service was not very good. 3 of the 4 dinners came out cold and the server was basically clueless. Son had veal parm (typical 19 year old dish) and it was very thick and tough..I had the chicken with sage (very good once re-heated) Another person had the gnocchi (very good, but again was cold) My wife's dinner came with a cold side of tasteless angel hair with garlic and oil. By the time it arrived to the table it was a glop of startch without any sauce so she asked the server to bring her some hot oil and garlic sauce to add to it. When it was delivered the young lady (not the server) said "oh the spoon fell into the dish" and handed me a small bowl of great smelling garlic & hot oil with a spoon in it?? I looked at her puzzlingly and took it from her and didn't say a thing. It wouldnt have mattered....The spoon literally was covered by the hot sauce...COME ON MAGGIANO'S!!

“An excellent place to go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Do you want to have the feeling to be in Italy? you need to go to Maggiano; people are nice, meal are very fresh and you will have enough to eat there and to bring home for the other day; plates are huge for the right price; Definitly, a place before , after a show where it is nice to go.
