“Food was good, but arrogant waiter was right out of central casting!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

This was our third time at Brasserie Jo. We have always had good service and food.
This time, however, our waiter could hardly be bothered. This was also true of the busboy, who had to be asked to clear dishes. Finally, we had to put them on the next table, which has been vacant for more than 10 minutes.

Management needs to do some better training!

“Happy hour bites & cold beer.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Upon our arrival, we were famished and not ready to head out. We had chowder, sausage & white bean soup and slider burgers. Local beer on tap and good service.

“Good, simple food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

We ate here for breakfast twice while staying at The Colonnade. The service was fairly efficient, but not particularly friendly on our first visit; on our second visit, we had a different waiter, and he seemed a little more engaged. Food was simple and tasty. Belgian waffles with fresh berries, Challah French toast; all were good, not great. Coffee good. Seemed a little steep in price for what we got, but the portions were generous. Atmosphere was pleasant with a great view of the street for people watching.

“Nice simple place with good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Unpretentious place with very good Bistro food. Service is good and the atmosphere, while simple, is nice. Steak frites and the endive salad...can't go wrong. Eating at the bar is a good option if in a hurry.

“Amazing breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

We had friends from out of town and wanted to do a special Sunday breakfast. Although pricey, the service was exceptional and the eggs benedict, croissants, and crepes were just wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We sat for a long time talking over coffee. There was no rushing us out. Looking around at all the wine bottles available by the glass, we will definitely go back for dinner.
