“Loews Boston: Location! Location! Comfort!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

Just checked out of the Loews Boston Hotel. The room was immaculate although a Standard room with a king size bed is crowded for two people. The bed was VERY comfortable as was the environmental control (air). The bathroom is well appointed with large, fluffy towels and bathrobes. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not dine in the restaurant, but the Precinct Bar bar was comfy with patio seating.

Green Features: Towel and linen re-use program and energy efficient lighting throughout.

Really pleasant hotel in a great spot to enjoy downtown Boston. All the best spots are a short walk from the shore area up to the Charles river, Boston common, beacon hill the lot and for shoppers and diners boylston and Newbury are just a few yards away. the staff are really friendly. Well worth a visit. Love the robes in the rooms. Pure luxury!

We just got back from a 4 night stay the Loews Boston Hotel. Everything was absolutely seamless from check-in to check-out. We took the backbay express from Logan which dropped us off in Copley square, and that was a very close walk to the hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean and the staff was extremely professional. We also greatly enjoyed the free wi-fi and the 24 hour coffee machine in the lobby! The hotel is very close to multiple "T" stations which made Boston easy to get around for people who had never been there before! We loved our stay here and would absolutely come again when in Boston.

Room Tip: The 6th floor was very quiet.

We spent a wonderful graduation weekend with family at the Loews Boston Hotel. A more boutique like hotel offering a wonderful alternative in central Boston. We found the service of the hotel to be excellent and very enthusiastic. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The bar and food offerings in the hotel were very nice.

Everything from the location of this property to the quick delivery of room service AND a quick valet, far exceeded my expectations. I usually stay at another local hotel, but the Loew's was hundreds less, so I thought I'd give it a try. Everything was spotless, modern and comfortable. This should rank as one of Boston's best hotels and it is a very good value.

Easy to walk everywhere from here...and the room had plenty of convenient outlets to charge all of my husband and my multiple electronic devices! The room may have been on the small side but it was well thought out and very comfortable for us.
Very nice quality linens and towels...comfortable bathroom...and very plush robes!!
Nice lounge space with multiple coffee and tea options. Energetic outside bar.
The staff was polished and helpful!!

Green Features: particularly liked the bathroom lighting...a sensor detected movement and a low light when on when you walked in. Also, temp controls were motion sensitive so if no one was in the room, they shut down.

Very nice room and accommodating staff. They were able to provide a crib for our 5 month old. Rooms were spacious enough that there were actually two different places in the room where we could fit the crib and we switched it up. Next to the bed when we wanted to see her playing and around a little corner just outside the bathroom so we could sleep out of view from her. In our experience, at other hotels, when she can see us she tends to wake up more and want to play instead of just putting herself back to sleep so this worked out well. Father's day morning we had a friend stop by and we were even able to fit the crib in the bathroom and close the door for extra noise control while she slept and we talked/had lunch in the room. So, overall, plenty of space and this was a smaller room than the one we were initially offered. The slightly bigger room of the same price point was by the elevator and because of the baby I asked to switch. But even in what seemed to be a smaller room (maybe because of the different layout?) we had plenty of room. The doorman and valet staff were great, very friendly and never really had to wait long for anything. The Restaurant has an amazing burger, great atmosphere, and a beautiful outdoor seating area. This hotel was very conveniently located. While my husband used the hotel gym, I took the baby out with the jogging stroller and made my way over to the Charles River. Very nice place to run. The brick sidewalks to get there were slightly difficult with the stroller but this wouldn't matter if you don't have one and it adds to the charm of Boston. The path along the river was quite smooth and not overcrowded. Just around the hotel you also have easy access to a CVS, wine store, nice restaurants, cute bakeries for breakfast, bank of america, shopping on Newbury Street and just a short walk to the Prudential mall. If we go back to Boston I would stay here again. Oh and the bed was very very comfortable. Guess a good night's sleep is the main point of a hotel room :)
