“great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

The Loews hotel in Back Bay is very well located, close to some great restaurants (Red Lantern) and shopping (Newbury street). We liked our ample room with 2 queens where we stayed with our two daughters. The rooms are clean and the bathroom has a bath with separate shower, which we liked very much. Coffee and tea you can get in the lobby all day and it was very nice to sit and watch the news on the big screen over there. A few things we didn't like: Water in the room costs 7 dollar, which we didn't like, nowadays there are lots of hotels that have complimentary waters for their guests. And the wifi is free only for 3 devices, for more you have to pay. Parking costs are very high. But overall we enjoyed being guests of the Loews in Boston.

My wife and i stayed three nights in a deluxe king room. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel was very clean and quite comfortable. It is well situated near various subway lines and a number of attractions. We were even able to walk back after a Red Sox game.
The hotel has a bar and restaurant which adjoin one another on the inside and each has separate space outdoors. Having outdoor space like this makes the stay much more enjoyable. To be able to have a drink or meal outdoors in the nice weather is infinitely superior to being indoors. I think this is one of the main competitive edges the Loews has over its competition. And the food at both the bar and restaurant was quite good. I was especially surprised at how delicious the lobster roll was, and the large serving of lox at breakfast was outstanding.
The hotel has 2 entrances - one on Stuart Street and another on Berkley. We parked on the Stuart side as that was what was on our printed reservation. Turns out that the parking valets are on Berkley. The person at check-in was able to arrange to have the valet go around and get our car so we did not have to traverse the crazy zig-zag Boston streets to get to the right location. After driving for several hours, this was most appreciated.
The hotel also has a lounge with couches, computers, large screen TV, and most importantly, courtesy coffee all day long from the best hotel coffee machine i have ever seen. There were about eight options (americano, espresso, cappuccino, etc.). The coffee was piping hot and very delicious.
We would definitely return to Loews during our next visit to Boston.

This will definitely not be our last stay at a Loews hotel! The staff was so friendly and attentive and made out experience so personal as we celebrated our first anniversary. The hotel was impeccably clean and the rooms were beautiful. The restaurant was great and had a nice patio to sit outside and a have a couple drinks. I highly recommend Loews Boston!

We stayed for 3 nights at this downtown Boston hotel. Great location and excellent staff especially the concierges - excellent ambassadors for a great Boston stay- they really know the city! The reception staff were also excellent and willing to help with any issues or questions. The room was beyond my expectations , not only in size but especially the bathroom with the awesome shower jets. The beds were very comfortable and sheets and towels were ultra soft and high quality. Room decor was modern and the whole hotel had an upscale urban feel. The valet parking is approx $45/ day, but similar to other downtown hotels. We found a Starbucks a couple blocks up and a CVS just around the corner. Overall our family was very pleased with our stay and we would happily return to this hotel. It's a gem!

I stayed here for my birthday. The hotel was impeccable and in a great location. My room was a little small, but the bathroom was huge! The room came with bathrobes and they were probably the most comfortable I've ever worn. Would love to stay here again!

Room was a bit boxy, it says in the literature that every room has a fridge, ours did not, nor the CD player mentioned. Clean, quiet and staff are god. Breakfast come is at around $20 per person and is good. No pool but fitness centre in basement.

We stayed at the Loews during a trip and had a great time! The hotel is awesome and in a great location for walking anywhere you need to go. Loved the coffee pot in the commons area too! Thanks so much for the hospitality, we will definitely be back!
