We spent three nights in Boston at the Encore B&B and absolutely loved it! The location is great for getting around the City and it feels like you are living in Boston instead of staying at an impersonal hotel. The rooms were very classy and clean and the hosts, Reinhold and David, were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent -good coffee and wonderful granola! We will definitely be back again and will recommend it to our family and friends. You won't regret staying at the Encore B&B - it feels like your home away from home.

After travelling to New York by sea (on the QM2), we took the train down to Boston and walked from the station to this sweet terraced townhouse in an affluent area of the city.

Encore is reasonably priced, very comfortable and mine host was extremely welcoming. I thank him for my introduction to German Fitness Bread!

My husband and I stayed at the Encore B and B for 7 nights from 15th December until 22nd and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We stayed on the top floor in the Albee Room and were extremely impressed with not only our room, but the entire building. Everywhere was spotlessy clean. Reinhold was lovely and very approachable. He was always willing to stop and chat, but was never overbearing or 'in your face'.

The location of the B and B is excellent. You get a real neighbourhood vibe staying in the South End, and we really felt like locals whilst we were staying there. My husband and I love walking and were happy to get out each day to discover the delights of Boston (even though there was snow the whole time we were there, and I mean snow - 12 inches of the stuff in some places!!)

I could go on and on about how great the Encore is (and Boston too for that matter), but take my word for it (and the word of the other reviewers), if you go to Boston and are lucky enough to get a reservation at the Encore, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I booked our first trip to Boston on the first week-end of December. I looked up the reviews in Tripadvisor and felt lucky to book a room at Encore Bed & Breakfast only a few weeks ahead of our travel. Our hosts were friendly and meeting Reinhold allowed us to practice our German. Our room (the Sondheim) was exquisitely decorated and more comfortable than any 5 star you would book, anywhere. The location is fantastic (we love to walk a city through and through and the South End is both strategic and quiet). We were planning a 3 nighter but news of a major snowstorm hitting the North East on Monday morning had us flee on Sunday PM. Too bad, but we will be back!
