“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Great location, beautiful stunning rooms and traditional Ritz service. Quiet street right off the park! Doormen helpful and knowledgeable about the area....highly recommend this place. For $15.00 you get a workout at The sports club, an incredible facility in the same building!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the park

This was our first stay at the Ritz Carlton Boston. We had a very nice experience there. The staff was friendly and informative and the rooms and public areas clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the location.

Room Tip: Request room on a higher floor with view of the Commons.

I've been to a number of Ritz-Carlton hotels here in the US. As one reviewed but it, "a typical Ritz", which is true, but it is so not broken. The classic moment on this stay was Saturday evening after dinner when we where in the Club and overhearing two couples share their experiences at other Ritz-Carlton Clubs. They talked about ten different properties and seemed to like them all. I've been to at least a half dozen and, some better than others, but it is always about superior service. You will be welcomed and comfortable here.

Room Tip: Street side / city view

We had a great stay at the ritz. We were very concerned about location since we usually stay in Copley area. Turns out we were exactly half way between Faneuil hall and Copley area. It was an easy walk in either direction. The hotel is small, but the service was impeccable. Had a great suite with no view, but it worked for is. Would have like to have view of the Common.

The property is typical city Ritz. Room size adequate, not roomy. A/c is noisy as other reviewer stated. The carpet looked clean but seemed to have that "dusty smell",not so great for allergies. Maybe need different vacuum/bag? The service is stand out! The food at Restaurant excellent. Had breakfast there each morning and one dinner. The grilled pineapple margarita excellent.
Location excellent. Walk everywhere.

Rooms were average, cookie cutter as it features an uncanny resemblance to The Ritz-Carlton, New York Battery Park. The club concierges at the Club Lounge were chirpy and cordial. I remember Britney, cheerful girl. It amazes me how they manage one evening cocktail session with only 1 person on duty with 8 tables full of guests, ensuring guests' glasses were filled and buffet line full of food.

Staff at reception and concierge were not the friendliest, professional at best but lacked warmth.

Rooms and Club lounge had no views whatsoever, with a rate approaching nearly USD400 a night, i really do not see the value in staying here.

Great location though, within walking distance to Boston Common Park, Chinatown and some theatres.

This is yet another great Ritz Carlton hotel. We stayed in club suite on the 12th floor. The sitting room was large and well appointed and bedroom very comfortable. Breakfast in the club lounge was excellent with a wide choice. Thanks to Blanchelle, Caroline and all the ladies in the club lounge for their help and advice. The location of this hotel is ideal close to the common.
All the staff are wonderful and a special mention to concierge Adriatic for booking 2 amazing restaurants Bricco and del friscos . Boston is an amazing city and the Ritz Carlton a great place to stay. Will return.

Room Tip: Go for a club room. A view of Boston Common is nice but not essential.
