I just love the Greenway it is well kept with nice fountains, flowers, and great views of downtown. You can walk from one end to the other taking stops along the way at all the various pubs, restaurants, and attractions. My favorite Pub being Barney Fanning's on Broad st great fish and chips, a buck a shuck oysters and a lobster roll that ranks among the best in the city .

“A breath of fresh air in the city”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The Greenway is a work in process. It roughly follows the area where an elevated roadway once stood in downtown Boston. There are planted areas, grassy areas, and areas to play in water features. It's a nice place to take a walk or to relax and enjoy the sun.

“A wonderful addition to the Boston waterfront”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a great place to visit with or without children. It is a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of the waterfront area. For kids there is the carrousel and the great fountain. There is also the Boston Harbor Islands Information Center and and close by other attractions - like Emack and Bolio - some of the best Ice cream you've ever tasted!

“An Improvement over the Elevated Roadway”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

For those of us who live around Boston, this is a real improvement over the elevated roadway that used to be in this location. Nevertheless, there remains a lot to be done before the promises made during the Big Dig -- that this walkway would be beautiful -- are a reality. Right now a lot is just cement, the result of a $20 billion construction project.

“Going to Be Nice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

The walkway is a great idea and has some splendid attractions such as the spurting water area where everyone runs through and trys (unsuccessfully) to avoid getting sprayed. The walkway also comes close to attractions such as Faneuil Hall, the Aquarium, the Holocaust Memorial, good restaurants, and the waterfront. It is still a work in progress, and I expect it will become a major attraction, eventually.
