“In Need of Renovation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

When booking a hotel in Boston, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Wyndham with rates that I was able to book at my company rate. Unfortunately, this "Wyndham" does not live up to the hotel name. The room itself was clean and well maintained, and the lobby appeared to be updated, but the hallways were dim and dismal. Overall I would probably keep looking if visiting Boston and trying to stay at a decent hotel. The location isn't even that great, as you're off the beaten path from many of the sites downtown.

Stayed frequently when it was Holiday Inn as my husband was in MGH for an extended period of time. Now bi-annual visits and love what you have done with the interior of the rooms. Front desk very helpful and friendly, Anthony (bellman) a jewel. Unfortunately the valet on duty gave a very poor 1st impression, could not smile or acknowledge that anyone was even standing in front of him. Appeared as though we were a bother to him, sorry did not get the name although I am reasonably sure you will know who we speak of. Spent 2 nights and ate in the restaurant both, must say it was quite tasty.
We will be back, would like to see a more cost efficient medical rate.

Average hotel and very overpriced. Was previously a Holiday Inn and although the staff and services was excellent that is about it. A good location but price of room & food way over the top. Plenty of places to eat & supermarkets close by which offer great food & value.
