“2 Days in Boston”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2011

Booked the Ramada Inn over the internet the morning that we were due to arrive.Very Quick and easy to arrange. Came in from Cape Cod and found the hotel easily off I93.

Staff were very freindly and couldn't do enough to help. It was pouring when we arrived and very cold, but room was warn and clean. Went into Boston in the evening and a Shuttle bus takes you to the nearest Subway Station (Red LIne JFK/ UMAS (T station)). Journey lasts about 10 minutes and then it is a 10 minute journey into downtown Boston. Bus leaves hotel every 30 mins on the hour and at half past the hour.

Bus picks up from the T station at 15 minutes and 45 minutes past the hour right up until 11pm but if you are having a night out in the city you can call the hotel to arrange a later pick up.

Hotel has a good continental breakfast included and free coffee all day long.

There are couple of restuarants within walking distance and shops about 600 yards away.

Never been in Boston before but would come back here to this hotel anytime. It is a bit out of the city but transport links are very good and hotel staff very helpful.

Found it excellent value for money and location. They also have a shuttle that picks up and drops off from Logan airport every hour.

Also has free WIFI with good speed.

I had medium expectations for this hotel, since it was a price line deal, but it was far worse then I ever thought. We had to go through a very cold and dirty hall way on the ground floor to get to the room and once inside I didn't want to touch anything, because it was all very grimy. We had to turn on the heater to warn things up, but it was so dusty and dirty that I started sneezing and getting stuffed up. There was a bad smell from the air that got worse as the room warmed up. Unfortunately we booked for 2 nights and had no real choice but to stay. We would definitely not stay again.

Stayed here to save money since all of the hotels in downtown are super expensive ($300 and up). Its about a 10-15 min drive from the main attractions in the city. It's a quiet, clean hotel, a great value for the money. Here are some of the perks:

- Free wi-fi!
- Continental breakfast complimentary. Includes waffles, pastries, juices, coffee, yogurt.
- Free parking
- complimentary coupon book including coupon for free fudge at Phillips Candy House next door, a free beer and free clam chowder at the restaurants next door.
- Free airport shuttle and shuttle to the subway every 30 min until 11 pm
- Lots of huge, fluffy pillows on the beds.

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff is friendly and attentive. Its no fancy hotel, the decor is outdated, and the elevator is a little questionable, but if you dont care about that, it's a great place to stay and save money!

I stayed at Ramada Inn from October 21 to 29, 2011. It was great ! They have a perfect shuttle from airport to hotel, and from hotel to the train station. Although a little far from downtown, I recomend this hotel as they have a very good breakfast, free internet and confortable free transportation. The room was very good at the 3rd floor, clean. The air condition and the shower were excelent. Their very near restaurant is very, very good. We rented a car with Enterprise, the company recomended by the hotel. Perfect ! Belmira Petrucci

We stayed at the ramada inn for an overnight stay prior to flying out of Logan airport the next morning. First we had to bring our vehicle on the other side of the hotel to park it for the week ( which worried me a little) and then we had to bring our luggage through two heavy glass doors to get to the most unsafe elevator I have ever been in. There was no inspection sticker inside it either. The moment we stepped
Onto the third floor there was a strong odor that smelled like urine. The hallway had a large stain on the carpet where I assume the source was. Of course we were placed in the last room at the end of the hallway.
On our return from our trip we had to wait about 50min before the shuttle picked us up after I had called and they stated about 20min. Apparently the driver was in route to come and get us and was called back to the hotel to bring a crew to the cruise dock before coming to get us!!!!
We will never stay here again!!

Hotel is older but very clean! Good breakfast. You don't need to rent a car as the hotel has a free shuttle that will drop you off or pick you up at the JFK Subway which will take you anywhere you want to go in Boston. You can go see the sights Downtown. It is really convenient.

This hotel needs work. We stayed here on September 27, 2010 before a flight on the 28th. When we first walked in, there was a hole the size of a softball in the carpet. Another three very worn places near the sink. I'm not sure the last time a vacuum was used in this room. I made sure I always had my shoes on and never bare footed. I needed to recharge my I Pad and was going to unplug a lamp. The grease and grime on the plug was so dirty I decided to recharge at the airport. In the bathroom, the tile around the base was filthy. On the outside it appears they enclosed the walkway leading to the rooms for the 1st and 2nd floor. Betweeen room 170 and 171 there is a card reader to swipe your room key to gain entrance. At the end of the hall at room 175 there is an open door that you can open from the outside without any security at all--just walk in. The real kicker in our room was at 9:30 p.m. when we were watching tv, someone opened our door. The chain was on, but it was only attached with one screw. It wouldn't take much of a push to tear it off the door. The real problem was that the dead bolt was in place, but it opened also. The front desk had given a card to our room to someone else. Just an hour before we had been at dinner. What would have happened if we had still been gone?? THEN the front desk told my husband they would refund $50 from the room charge. We are now home...I just checked the credit card statement, and they charged us DOUBLE for the room then deducted the $50.

I will not be staying at this or any other Ramadas again. This is a case where Ramada has taken money from customers and run. They should be ashamed of theirselves.
