The apartment is well appointed with everything you could need for your stay. The view is amazing. Public transport is within easy reach and the nearby bus/subway lines go to the places you'll be wanting to visit. I think the area the apartment is in is probably up and coming. It is a little rough round the edges but it's clear that money is being spent there and regeneration is occurring.
Booking the apartment was very easy but once Michael had our money we heard nothing more from him, despite emailing. We ended up having to Google his name to find a contact telephone number so we could get details of how to gain access to the apartment once we arrived in Boston, and this was the day before we flew! A lady called Mary met us there and was very pleasant and helpful. We also had to chase Michael up, on the phone, to get our deposit back, 6 weeks after the holiday ended.
So, all in all, a great apartment but dreadful communication from the owner.

Unfortunately the owner has been in poor health the past few months. As a result, this LOFT will no longer be available for short term rentals. I appreciate all those who have stayed at the Loft, hope you enjoyed the location, its convenience and your time in Boston. The South End neighborhood, which I have been a part of for 30 years, is a special place.
Diversified both on an ethnic as well as economic basis. Its residents and guests can accept their differences as well as their common hopes and goals. This understanding and acceptance has allowed its residents to build a community that is vibrant and progressive. My hope is that the guests at the loft enjoyed the oppoirtunity to truly feel and experience an Urban neighborhood that is unique not only in the United States. but around the world as well. Thank you for your comments.
