In route to BOS decided to stop at James Hook based on T/A reviews and was totally satisfied. During my 3 week trip to New England I sampled many lobster rolls and this was by far the best. Plenty of parking (a downtown Boston rarity), some outside tables and a few inside will round out your casual lunch. On display were the $14 lobster roll (in a hot dog bun) and the $17 in a bolio bun. Both were overflowing with lobster meat in a mayonnaise type dressing. No fillers, no veggies, just fresh lobster meat. The counter girl asks if you want your bun toasted and in minutes it's ready. I also had an opportunity to meet the owner who was very customer oriented. If in the BOS area note they have a great selection of lobster meet, fresh fish, shrimp and the many lobster tanks to select your crustacean.
