Great value. Enjoyed our stay. Free shuttle to airport was delayed by a parade; hotel arranged for substitute from another hotel to keep us on schedule. Hearty breakfast, patient, informative staff. Safe & clean. Taxi service was not reliable during our stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend trip to Boston. The hotel is close to the subway (red line) which will take you to downtown Boston in minutes. From there, you can walk almost anywhere. This hotel is conveniently close to a mall with a Target, Old Navy, Marshalls, Olive Garden, and an Applebee's. If you are adventurous, you can walk down Boston St. and dine at 224. It was a nice little find for a late night dinner. Very friendly staff and great food.

Our room on the third floor was clean and served it's purpose. Somewhere to rest for our next day out and about. The continental breakfast hit the spot for a quick meal before starting our day.

We had no complaints about this Holiday Inn Express. The price fit nicely into our budget. We will be coming back to this hotel on our next trip to Boston.

We hadn't been to Boston in quite a few years and were astounded at the prices for downtown hotels. The HI Express was by far the best price we found on a decent hotel, and it is decent: clean, friendly staff, free hi-speed internet, reasonable breakfast. The trade-off is the location. Msgr O'Brien Highway is an industrial strip, a bit dingy, ripe for renewal. We never felt unsafe though and spent a good deal of time walking around that part of Cambridge. The Lechmere T stop is within half a mile and that proved very handy. All in all, a good value.

arrived at the hotel by hotel shuttle after leaving drivers licence in a washington hotel so unable to rent a car, friendly staff, complimentary breakfast & tea, coffee & hot chocolate always available during the day. The local Mall was just over the small parking lot with applebees & the Olive Garden restaurants, we used the shuttle to take us to the harbour for a little exploring & the next day bought a 2 day pass to explore Washington on a hop on hop off bus, we were collected in the morning from the hotel & taken to a central point & used the bus to get around the city, there were two stops close to each other (near the start and end of the journey) which would take you back without having to transverse the whole city to get to the final stop, a complimentary harbour cruise was on offer too. We were taken back to our hotel at 5pm, or you can use the subway, a short walk back to the hotel. Free internet access available in the lobby was useful and available for longer than the 10mins stated if there was no queue to use it.
