“Super convenient. Does exactly what you would expect it to.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Clean, comfortable and convenient - 5 mins walk from the terminal. If you need an airport hotel it's a no-brainer. Free shuttle service to terminals, local subway station and car rental offices was appreciated. Couldn't fault it.

We hadnt booked anywhere when we went on our trip to boston so we were told to ask at the information point at boston airport. the guy was hepful enough and rang this hotel for us. had rooms @ $199 a night so we thought brilliant.they have a skywalk from the airport so was easy to find. hotel was clean with a seperate bar and restaurant. the room was lovely with a great view overlooking the harbour and city skyline. they offered a free shuttle service to the airport and subway which was of great use as ran every 15 minutes and drivers were helpful and knowledgable. the subway takes about 15 mins to get you into boston centre.
the breakfast in the hotel was slightly overpriced for what you got and no gluten free bread etc. (not that i could see anyway). checking out was easy as you could do this in the room by using the telephone.

We have stayed here many times as we embarked on a driving tour or cruise from Boston. We have been struck by the helpful, upbeat attitude of the staff. The shuttle drivers were there to help, and always had a smile. Ditto for checkin desk, maids, and the waiters on the restaurant. I needed several items from the gift shop and they too scurried out and helped me locate exactly what I wanted. Yes, it is a bit pricy but the beds are comfortable, it is quiet, the breakfasts in restaurant were hot and tasty and the positive attitude of the "team" cannot be overemphasized. It makes a difference in the attitudes of the guests when they feel valued. Keep it up

Clean hotel, close to airport, fine for our flight next day. Shallow bath, small bathroom. Comfortable bed. Used HHonours to get free wifi, sign up before arrive. Can walk through walkway straight to airport, undercover.

I have chosen the Hilton Boston Logan mostly for convenience. My meetings were downtown and just a 10 - 15 minutes cab ride from the airport.

The hotel is located in between the airport and easily accessible by walking. I did not wait for the shuttle since walking was less than 10 minutes. The check-in process is anonymous, efficient, and swift. When using the walkway from the terminal, you'll arrive at the 2nd floor - right where the meeting rooms are. That is slightly irritating as I pretty much walked into a big closed audience event and hauled by luggage right through that crowd.

I stayed in an executive room that was no different than any other room as far as I can tell. The room itself is spacious and clean with the usual amenities one would expect from a Hilton minus a mini bar or any easily accessible drinks (more on drink and food options later). The beds were comfy and of adequate size. There was a flat screen in the room but the picture quality was horrible with jitters and lags on every station (even the welcome channel).

At least Internet was free for as many devices as you carry by the provided promotion code. It was slightly misleading since the second device you'd connect pops up a web page that instructs you to pay between $10 and $20 for a day but you get a sheet of paper with instructions on how to circumvent that at time of check-in.

The bathroom was of adequate size but appeared to be more 2-* than anything else - shampoo, conditioner, lotion, a couple of towels and not even cups for your toothbrush. Fortunately, the room is equipped with an iron and ironing boards, although some spray starch or ironing help as provided by the Omni was not available. Since I had only one wrinkly shirt, I did not request any ironing service.

The executive lounge is on the rather stingy side. In the evening there are cookies, coffee, water, and sodas. The breakfast served there is totally crowded and you'll get bagels, croissants, some jam, a small selection of fruits, and hard-boiled cold eggs. I skipped that after the first day and grabbed a quick bite downtown instead.

Since the lounge was a fail and no mini/snack bar was in the room, I checked out the in-room dining options and was totally baffled by the prices. On top of the already expensive options there is another 50% in taxes and fees. With tip, I would assume you'll pay another 60% on top of what you've selected so that even the Pizza Magherita option is around $30 without any drinks. There is a little coffee bar in the room though with 2 coffee packages and 2 tea bags.

The exercise room is pretty well equipped and has a pool next to it although I did not visit the pool. The hotels runs a scheduled shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes FROM the hotel but does not stop at every terminal. So if you need to go TO the hotel, you'll need to call and schedule a pickup via the courtesy phones. Taxis are always available and queuing up front for easy access.

A word of warning for all you smokers out there: I was initially booked into a smoking room but when I called ahead to change that I was told this is a 100% non-smoking property.

We ended up here because we left it too late on a Friday to find anything else. It is a very good hotel of its type, but is expensive. I guess they get a lot of business travellers on expenses, or perhaps the ground rent is high, but it certainly isn't 4 or 5 times better than other hotels we stayed in elsewhere in New England. So be warned - don't leave things too late at the weekend or you will be staying in an expensive hotel (or sleeping in the car).

Everything was fine during my two-day stay, except that there are very limited dining options in the hotel, and no convenient way to go elsewhere. There was a large cruise/tour group that comandeered the only restaurant, and I had to make do with snacks from the gift shop. Not worth the pricey room rate.
