We visited Nico last year during our annual trip to Boston, and we loved it, so we decided to go back again. We skipped apps to be sure to have room for the main event - the veal chop. We asked to have a side of risotto with it. My husband had the seafood risotto with his veal, and I had the mushroom risotto with mine. The food was absolutely gorgeous, yummy, delicious. Our waiter (sorry I forget his name) was great and we had a nice conversation about his home on the Amalfi coast. A nice surprise chocolate mousse (complete with birthday candle) was a nice touch at the end of the meal. The hostess Gianna, was also very friendly. She said she remembered us from last year, but I wondered how that could be possible. Then she pointed correctly to the table we sat at last December! Now, that is a great memory! Given so many places to try in the North End, we wondered if we should go back to Nico again since we only had a few nights there, or try all new places this year. We were very glad we did go back, and will do so again.
