“Died and gone to heaven!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Fom the moment we checked in, we were so well looked after. All the staff are true professionals, they are accommodating and friendly witht being overbearing. Not so much as a hint of snobbery, even though the hotel can boast at being one of the most classically elegant and enchanting hotels in Boston. Everything worked like a dream, car was valet parked, rooms were available, cases delivered. We were upgraded free of charge to a queen overlooking the park. Even though we booked through booking.com we weren't treated any differently that if we had booked direct, which is not the case in some hotels. The beds are heavenly, not too hard or too soft and we had the best nights sleep in weeks. The turndown service is wonderful and everything worked. The room is serviced twice a day and nothing is too troublesome, we had a bulb go and this was changd immediately and without ceremony. The receptionists and the consierge know their stuff. Dinner recommendations were fabulous, eat at Lucca and Charthouse! The concierge rang ahead to the Charthouse and we got desert free of charge which was just devine. From the exclusive toiletries to the champagne bar, it was just one heck of an experience. Not flash but just understated luxury. Just what was needed. Only one small plea.... Get rid of the extortionate wifi charges and make this a free service. Other than that top marks Langham, we'll definitely be repeating this experience.....

Room Tip: Room 305 overlooks the park.

The Langham is in the financial district but it is within easy walking distance to every sight. We booked through a third party service and were a bit leery about that as we've had difficulties before when not booking through the hotel directly. However, the staff and service was excellent. Not one issue with anything. We received the special "extras" that we were promised through the third party service without any issue from the hotel. No issues with the maid service, the checkout, the room. One tiny problem was that the TV kept getting "no signal" on occasion but we weren't there to watch TV anyway. One nice touch we noticed is that every time we walked back into the hotel, there was an elevator waiting and open in the lobby. I would stay here again.

From check-in to check-out our stay was excellent. We checked in around 3:00 p.m. after leaving our car out front for valet parking. Our room was perfect for my wife and I. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom amenities were superb. The closet even included plush terry bathrobes. After returning to our room from a wedding, our towels had been refreshed and our bed was turned down. Turn down service included slippers for both of us. We would definitely stay here again if in the area in the future.

The hotel is lovely, big rooms a nice gym and pool and the staff are very friendly too.
The location is spot on only a 5 minute walk to quincy market and the life blood of boston. We met up with family we hadn't seen for 40 years and even though we told them, we thought they could do something to make it special, not even a mention!
If you are flying into Logan and take the free silverline bus to south station. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from there

This hotel acceded our expectations! We arrived in Boston at 11am and check in was not until 3 however we decided to give it a shot. To our surprise there was a room ready and Suzy at the desk was wonderful! Antonio delivered our bags promptly to our room and within 20 minutes of arriving we were heading out to explore! The concierge was super helpful as we brought our 2 yr old daughter with us and needed some kid friendly restaurant options. Also the maintenance guy was great. It was our daughters first night away from home and she woke up wanting some warm milk at 11pm so we called the front desk asking if there was a microwave and she said no worries sir we will bring one to you. Now that's service! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Boston. It's location is great and central to most attractions and the hotel is impeccable (clean, clean, clean)!!!! Thank you to the Langham for making our trip a great one.

We stayed here for a friends bachelorette weekend. The location is great! It is nice & quiet on the weekends (even though its located in a downtown city) because its located in the financial dostrict. Were able to walk to Newbury Street for lunch & shopping. Had a great lunch at Stephanie's on Newbury. The hotel concierge recommended this restaurant. Also able to walk to the north end for dinner & then to the improv asylum for the comedy show that Saturday night. One of the great things about the hotel was the small touches that the staff did to make our stay more enjoyable - such as putting extra towels & amenities in the rooms since we had 4 people in each room. We didnt really have to ask for anything because the staff was already prepared for our arrival! The rooms were immaculately clean! The hotel staff also makes you feel safe staying there - one morning when we left the room to go to the fitness center my friend had left the guest room door open a little by accident & the housekeeper in the hallway noticed & pointed it out to us right away. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends & family especially if you are celebrating a special occasion! Also need to return in the fall for the Chocolate Bar!

We really liked this hotel. It got a bit loud in our hallway at night (6th floor) so we switched rooms the next day. The next morning we woke up to the sounds of doors slamming because they're difficult to close in this hall / floor (4th floor). We had the Chocolate Buffet which was good but I don't think I would ever pay that kind of money to do it again.

Parking was cheaper in the parking lot to the left of the hotel (under the park). It was $9 per day on the weekends and I would suggest that if you're going for the weekend.
