We just got back from a one-night stay at this hostel. We thought it was a great bargin. Absolutely PERFECT location. Close to transportation, Newbury Street shopping, very safe etc. We stayed in a dorm room which was pretty cramped and the showers are pretty yuck but you can't complain for the price. People were friendly. It was very quiet. Linen etc was clean and there was free breakfast of donut, coffee and bagels every morning. Remember that the hostel won't allow you to use sleeping bags so don't bother taking one. We would definitely stay there again.

I spent a week at the Hostel in Boston at 12 Hemenway Street for what I would have been charged for one night at one of the "fancy hotels".Centrally located to lots of attractions. Easy transportation connections.Bring eye shades and earplugs (some of your roommates may snore) and pack light (they have laundry facilities)...a rolling backpack is best....all bedding is provided for you including clean linen and clean towels.Sweet rolls and coffee free in the morning...buy your food at a nearby market and cook your own meals in their kitchen...they provide cookware and dishes.Dorm living means be flexable and remember to share...but it also means Lots of interesting people-UK, Japan, China, Korea, Ireland, etc. to meet and talk to at the hostel.A great bargain...Book on the internet for best price...I would do it again.
