“Perfectly comfy and romantic experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

This was our second visit to Boston and the Lenox Hotel..Great service and a large, elegantly decorated, quiet room fulfilled all our expectations and rekindled agreable past memories of our past stay here. Close to the astounding Copley Square, the Lennox offers a great and enjoyable bar experience. Well located and gently priced. A reference indeed!

We had a 3 day meeting planned with guest rooms, meeting room and catering. We had to cancel our last day due to impending blizzard. Gave hotel less than 24 hour notice of cancelled meeting and guest rooms. They were more than understanding. They could have held us to our contract and charged us for all rooms and catering ordered, but they did not charge us a penny! They allowed some of our guest a very late check out, 7pm, and did not charge them for that night. They were helpful, professional, understanding. The guest rooms were nice, the meeting room very nice and the food was very good to. We will return to the Lenox for a future meeting and recommend them highly.

I had the PLEASURE of a wonderful stay at the Lenox Hotel during the worst weather Boston has seen in many years..The Blizzard of 2013!! My best friend flew in from Sarasota FL for our annual "girls getaway weekend".. We had a ball- the hotels 3 restaurants remained open throughout the storm. We made many new friends- especially at Sola's!! We are frequent travelers and have yet to find a hotel matching the level of customer service of the Lenox. The hotel has a beautiful welcoming lobby, with a cozy fire -perfect during a blustery storm.
They offer complimentary coffee -tea every morning. My friend wanted hot chocolate. She asked the front desk clerk who quickly had a fresh steaming cup delivered as we sat by the fire. I highly recommend this hotel, whether traveling for business or a getaway with family and friends!!

Excellent location within walking distance to Boston Common, Freedom Trail and Cheers Bar! Next to Prudential Centre with Skywalk (highly recommend this), shops and restaurants.
We were upgraded on arrival which we greatly appreciated. We were allocated a large, comfortable room with period features and rich decoration.
Very warm, welcoming lobby with fireplace.
Staff very friendly and polite.

I was visiting Boston on a business trip and was touring different hotels throughout the city. This was one of them. I was not fortunate enough to stay there, but I can say that the staff was exceptional! The young lady who toured us through the hotel was professional, pleasant, knowledgable and funny. She was a wonderful tour guide. Upon leaving we asked the doorman and valet for directions. They gave them to us so we headed on our way. The doormen called out to us and came running down the block realizing that he had given us wrong directions so he wanted give us the correct ones. Talking about mind blowing service. In my many years of hotel experiences only a proud few would admit they had given incorrect information and then try and contact the people to correct themselves. This gentlemen really needs to be commended because he was the talk of the remainder of our trip as well as all of our hotels in DC. Two team members like this are truly what makes this hotel exceptional!

I will definately stay here the next time I am in Boston.

My family and I stayed here 6 days over new year and loved it. Great location, great service, great food, great time. There are two trolley stops very close by which was great as my wife can't walk too far. Right round the corner from Copley square it is in a ideal location. The Irish bar attached to the hotel had good food and fantastic service even on a very busy Hogmanay evening. Thanks.

This hotel has so much going for it, I don’t even know where to start!

The Lenox has luxurious rooms with old-world appointments like crown molding & tasteful wallpaper as well as thoughtful extras that make traveling that much nicer (hair drier, iPod dock, fluffy bathrobe, and an umbrella in every room!). The beds are comfy and the shower has perfect water pressure -- not to mention, I was delighted to find Aveda products in the bathroom. In the mornings, they serve Peet’s coffee in the lobby and gourmet hot chocolate in the evening.

The customer service is the best I’ve ever encountered: from the bell men to the front desk to the concierge. Everyone who works there is super professional and will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The staff comes in and turns down your bed every night, including delicious chocolate from a local company called Unreal (their tag line is: “Great tasting candy with none of the junk.”).

Location-wise, I loved the fact I could walk to the mall as well as some great local restaurants. Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are within a block which was handy in the morning.

This hotel was easily one of the best I’ve ever stayed. I highly recommend you stay here next time you’re in Boston!!
