Very impressed by our experiences at Mooo, both at brunch (excellent food and service) and then that night for dinner. Service and food were terrific, and the ambience was perfect. Group with a very small baby were present, unfortunately, when we arrived. The baby, not surprisingly given it was almost a newborn, was crying, which was not good (we raised twins and know how difficult this can be, but it was clearly not appropriate to have a baby at this restaurant). We expect the parents were concerned, but when nothing was working to stop the crying, the restaurant's manager intervened to see if there was something that could be done (taking the baby outside for a walk is a good idea). One member of the group became quite angry (expletive muttered on the way out) and led the group out in a huff. We felt badly for the restaurant, the server and the manager, Sarah, but were very impressed by how this was handled so professionally and appropriately. No comment on the people who left, who also didn't get to see the 6 or 7 tables that came in just after they left- all of those people would have turned and left upon seeing the crying baby in such a small, intimate atmosphere. Thanks Sarah, as well as our server and the chefs.
